I had such an amazing experience here. Shelly is so knowledgeable in what she’s doing and is such a sweet person. I got my helix done a day ago and it went as smoothly as it could’ve possible been. I can’t even stress how understanding and caring Shelly is. She thoroughly explained aftercare and causes of infection as well as providing a cleaning solution and an aftercare handout. 5 star experience, I will definitely be coming back.

Shelley is an amazing piercer, and person. She's done a couple of my piercings, including my daith most recently. I also let her pierce my daughters ears when she was 7 months old, and Shelley was absolutely AMAZING with her. My daughter didn't even cry because Shelley was so so good at keeping her distracted and entertained. SIDE NOTE - my daughters father did piercings at a shop in Ontario and has all the proper tools to do it, and I still told him no and the only one piercing her would be Shelley. Shelley cares about her clients. They aren't just clients to her. Shelley is very well aware that without her clients and above and beyond compassion for other humans, she wouldn't have a business. And she does not take that for granted. Her shop is ALWAYS clean. She thoroughly explains step by step the process before, and during the piercing itself. She explains aftercare thoroughly before, during and after. She always answers messages, even if it's not right away she always answers. Keep in mind she's running a business and has a lot of loyal clients and she does get back to everyone. She's the only piercer I've ever known to genuinely care not just about your piercing healing properly, but about you as a person, as a human being, as a friend. All of her clients she treats like family. I have and will continue to recommend her to everyone, no matter their age or piercing wanted. Shelley is professional, clean, polite, informative, gentle, thorough, everything you want your piercing artist to be.

Went to shell shock to get my septum pierced after having a previously botched septum piercing from another shop.Shelly was amazing and walked me through everything and everything was sterile and perfect. Placement is perfect and she went over all of the aftercare procedures very well.She even gave me a free price of jewelry so when it heals I can switch it out if I want to.Highly recommend. Had my Monroe done about 4 weeks ago. Last time I had it done the swelling was so bad the piercing was embedded, the woman at the other shop didn't take care of my concerns when I called her. At Shellshock she took great care to listen to my past experience and providing a solution. She also took great care in explaining the after care and making sure I understood. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!

Went there today for my daughter to get her lip pierced. Not only was Shelly professional and explained the whole process and after care to us, she was wonderfully kind. Very personable. Made the whole experience relaxed for my daughter. I would recommend her to anyone.

Shelly's amazing! My 13 year old daughter had Her ears pierced and I had my nose done, and Both were awesome experiences! If you're looking for a clean shop with a knowledgeable piercer, who will do it right, check out shell shock!!

Lovely place, fantastic experience, very professional. Shelly was more than kind to take care of us as we got cancelled on at another piercing studio that doubled booked themselves and after waiting for a month they turned us down. I called and she was beyond accommodating, informed us just to walk in and gave us prices as a kind heads up in advance over the phone. She was extremely kind, informed us on our piercing choices, jewelry and aftercare for them. Shelly knows her stuff and her studio is well kept, clean and professional in every way possible.I hope whoever comes across this review will share and enjoy their experience with her just as much as myself and family did.

I got my lip pierced here in November of 2020. My brother got his septum done here and my mom and nose ring 23 years prior. All three of us have had no issues at all with the healing process and how to take care of it. None of us got infected piercings. She changed gloves anytime she touched something so maintain cleanliness and definitely kept us entertained. Shelly is such a talkative person which can definitely put a person off if that’s not what they are used to. I also recall her sharing her opinions on the Government and some conspiracy theory’s. However that did not bother me in the slightest. I am 17 years old (almost 18) now and I still believe that everyone is entitled to an opinion on everything. If you don’t like hearing other people different opinions, don’t come here. I see Shelly as a nice person with only the best intentions. Take it from two teenagers and an adult who all got pierced many years apart by her: she knows what she’s doing. And if you have a bad experience, I’m really sorry that you did and find somewhere that fits for you.

Amazing piercer! Will definitely recommend her to everyone. She is so warm hearted and very knowledgeable. She’s super professional and the best! Me and my mom love her so much ❤️
