I am writing this post because I am super upset this company has taken advantage of my family. I wish I could give them a zero star. We are a young family with small child and we worked very hard to buy our first home. We asked this company for a price quote and was quoted a price to be charged per sq foot of the area being treated. We allowed the company to enter our home and measure for cost without being present as we are moving from 1 hour away and find it hard to keep travelling between homes with a 2 year old. We trusted the company would measure and give us an honest square footage. We took out a line of credit to pay this company so we could make our home safe. Following the removal we had to measure again for another job and came to realize they charged us at a square footage way over the actual size. This resulted in them over charging us by more then $4000. When confronting the issue the man explained he estimated the square footage and that he would not issue a refund as he gave us a better price then most people would. This was not acceptable so my husband pressed that we would not let this issue go as $4000 is a large amount of money to just brush off. Only when we stated we would be willing to take it to court did he then start to discuss a refund. This conversation didn't go far though as he complains that he is not making any money off the deal. His final response was that he would only give us back a maximum of 1500. Not even half of what he owes us. Now we are left to fight him in small claims court for money he should not have taken from us to begin with. A good company would do a real measure on a home and charge the family the correct amount. A good company would also address the issue when we realized he over measured and done a re measure with us to refund us the money we are owed. Now our only option is to take them to small claims court. I am completely disgusted with this company and the fact that they just ball parked our measure charging us over $4000 more then we should have paid. Horrible.
