I have been a customer of Penney & Co since 2014, when they were still located in Whitby. We have furnished much of our home with the quality upholstered furniture, vintage treasures, and luxurious textiles that this shop sells. Every visit is a delight, with what seems like a continual commitment to offer new shopping experiences - rearranging the store, offering new merchandise or hosting Shop Local events. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Plus Michael's taste is fabulous.

One of the best furniture and decorating stores in the region! If you want chic and stylish wares for your home you've got to check it out. Also, Michael - if he's in - has industry experience you won't find at other home stores in Durham.

It is always a treat to see what is new. It doesn't matter where you look you will see treasures. This is a beautifully merchandised store and is priced well. Whenever you are nearby it is worth a quick drop-in.

Great place to pick up charming pieces for your home without breaking the bank. Staff are lovely to deal with and always really helpful. I also love how Michael's shops lend a classic charm back to downtown Whitby.
