Mission Thrift Store

Everything about this place as well as my experience was very positive. Great cause, great stock, great pricing especially when compared to VV and GoodWill. Was so impressed I participated in the silent auction by submitting a bid.Must check out.

First time visiting this store. Upon entering and sanitizing our hands we were immediately barked at by an employee to grab a basket so they could keep track of the number of people in the store. I’m all for complying with any store’s rules but this came across kind of rude with no typical greeting like “hello” or “how are you”.I then found it strange that when 3-4 people entered after, not a single other person was asked to grab a basket so they could keep count. I left after only 5 minutes because of the lack of polite service and feeling uncomfortable in the store.Most items were very overpriced for the overall condition. We went to 3 other local thrift stores immediately after and all were significantly more pleasant experiences!

Wondering if this store has a pair of crutches and if so how much,I really need to find a set not too expensive though

This is a regular hangout for me, and especially my wife. The merchandise is incredibly well curated, the prices are about a third of what value village charges. The volunteer staff are really friendly and helpful. They even have flat rate delivery on furniture and other large items. We got our sofa love seat there, and the pullout was still in the plastic sheeting. We also get toys forr our daughter, clothes for the whole family and more. It even smells nicer than other thrift stores. The praise music that is regularly piped in doesn't super work for me, but I can live with it for all the other great things this place has going for it.

Very well organized, clean, and only gently used items.

Usually staff are quite nice. Cashier volunteers are always very nice. Saw a chair in the back stock room staff area that I wanted to purchase. I knocked on the OPEN backroom door & asked politely if i could see the chair (to buy it). I am in the store daily. I’ve asked this before, purchased items like this and it hasn’t been an issue. My friend who’s there 2x a day buying dressers to flip for profit is ALWAYS asking to see stuff she can see through the door. And she has also purchased things this way. They’re on a first name basis.The gentleman (tall slim glasses) snapped at me abruptly “no! if it’s in the back it still needs to be priced/cleaned up”. FYI- they have NEVER have “cleaned up” anything I’ve previously purchased via the store room.Well, sir, you just lost that easy & simple sale which would’ve assisted you in emptying backroom stock & making space. The worst part is he changed gears immediately & was kind & polite to the woman beside me who was asking another question.Would’ve been a simple “let me grab that for you ma’am” and I’d have bought it on the spot (once priced) I’m leaving now feeling awful that I was just snapped at & spoken down to like a child who got their hand slapped. And I was utterly and completely embarrassed in front of other customers. Instead of being treated respectfully as a reputable repeat customer.

Nice place, mostly good stuff, great cause.

This was our first time at this store picking up an item for my mother in law that she had purchased. Upon entering - the store was very noticeably clean & well organized but unfortunately having two separate interactions with two separate employees , both were incredibly unfriendly & unwelcoming.The first lady made commentary about how the item should have been picked up prior to today so now she had to “go find it” and acting extremely inconvenienced. Then another one of the ladies barked at my 4 year old for testing out a toy before purchase letting me know she wouldn’t be held liable if my daugher fell in the store. (Toy was a very large ride on)Rude enough to make me not purchase said toy & quite frankly never wanna go back.Do better.
