Mayfair really came through when we were in need! During the frigid cold snap that extended into January 2022 when it was -30C outside for an extended period of time, our furnace decided not to work anymore. I called around to a few places in PG and Mayfair not only answered the call right away but they also got me booked for that same day! I was so appreciative they were able to fit me in as our house was without heat, and they went above and beyond to make sure that was corrected before the day was done. The tech Brandon was fantastic, very professional, and put in extra hours on the extended day to make sure our furnace was in working order before he left. 4.5 stars!* Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the first tech that came out suspected a replacement flame sensor was needed and left after his initial inspection; the second tech (Brandon) that came out with the suggested replacement part got the furnace working eventually with some cleaning and maintenance work.

Literally no one would help us out in an emergency situation. We spent 3 hours on the phone calling companies when our sump pump in the house stopped working and the best we could otherwise get was “we can be there in 48 hours.” We were on holidays and those left at home couldn’t wait to use the washroom that long, which no one seemed to understand. Called up Mayfair and they got there within two hours, replaced the pump and we are flushing toilets once more. Way to go Mayfair. Very timely. We will be updating our emergency call list to include you for such issues in the future.

I tried for 6 months for local to install pump. No interest. I got hold of Mayfair. Excellent service. Excellent professional and friendly guys did my work. They installed pump. Water line and all services from pump to tap and got us hooked up. There were 2 separate issues in the system and they responded promptly and at no additional charges. These guys are an excellent company..I would highly recommend based on our use of them. Thx Drew for your superb service and knowledge.

We have been using the services of Mayfair for about 15 years and would never use another company as their service has been extremely good. When we have had any issues with our furnace we can count on them to look after us. Two years ago, our furnace quit and it was extremely cold out, we contacted Mayfair and they adjusted their schedule and put our appointment as a priority. They had our furnace up and running later that day. Recently, we made an appointment to have our furnace serviced, we received a call from them asking if they could change our appointment as another one of their clients needed an emergency appointment that day. Of course, our appointment was not an emergency and I knew it was their policy to ensure emergencies are dealt with asap, so I agreed to changing our appointment. Our furnace was serviced on their next available date which was within 10 days. Great customer service!

I have dealt with Mayfair G,P & E for a couple of years now. They replaced our well pump and was very satisfied with their work. This visit was no exception. Brandon arrived, assessed the situation and diagnosed and corrected the problem. I recommend Mayfair to anyone that wants excellent service in plumbing and well pump issues. We will be using their services when we replace our furnace next year as well as any other services as needed

Brandon Hanson provided excellent service in fixing my washer faucets and installing a new laundry sink I had purchased. He was pleasant professional and answered my questions and provided explanations. I use Mayfair for all my plumbing and furnace needs since 2016 when I moved to Prince George. I have found them to be honest reliable and budget friendly. I highly recommend them.

Had a gas fireplace installed, the quote for the work was done quickly and was fair comparatively to other outfits. Communication was quick and easy. They sent their red seal gas fitter with over 40 years of experience to do a consult to discuss the best location and the work entailed for the install before the parts were ordered. When the job was started they were very professional, clean and organized with quality and safety as their main objective through to completion.We had questions about our other gas fireplace that had some older obsolete parts that were no longer working. Without issue they assessed the unit and were able to find spare parts and get it up and running!The quote process, the initial consult, the install, and the final invoicing with the ladies in the office was all a positive experience.They definitely went above and beyond I would highly recommend Mayfair!

What was supposed to be a basic well pump replacement turned into a fishing competition because of the pipe falling off the barbed fitting and falling into the well. Drew Williams was not only professional and honest. He was thoughtful about not wanting to waste my time and money. Hands down awesome employees. They were time efficient, polite, honest and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend Drew and his apprentice.

The company managed to sqeeze us in when they had a sudden opening which we really appreciated. Brandon was very professional and explained the issue with our system. Turned out to be something simple and easy to fix but he spent the time ensuring no other underlying issues were also present. Will be calling them again.
