The staff are always friendly amidst a very busy office. Booking an appointment is always easy; as long as you are flexible and understanding of how busy the practice is.The doctors are attentive and don’t waste your time. I’m grateful for the great care!

I hardly ever leave reviews but felt compelled to write this one after reading all the prior reviews. Dr. Dotchin has been my daughter's doctor since she was 2 years old (for the past 9 years) and long before Oculus was formed. She is an exceptional specialist who has provided excellent care all these years. She is attentive, kind, patient and answers questions without ever making you feel like a burden. She has performed 2 surgeries over the years on my daughter's eye and with great success. My daughter was initially misdiagnosed by another highly reputable" clinic and the late proper diagnosis has permanently affected my daughter's vision despite all treatments & procedures that have followed since. If we didn't find her after the misdiagnosis by others I know for a fact my daughter's vision would be in a far worse state. I have carried a great deal of resentment and anger for our medical system for a decade due to our specific situation but Dr. Dotchin has almost redeemed my faith that there still are great professionals out there. So if you are looking for an exceptional doctor

First off, yes there is one receptionist there that has a serious attitude problem. Second, my main reason for leaving this review, I took three of my kids there for many appointments over a few years, keep in mind we live 3 hours away, and they never actually Did anything except checkups. When we first went there we were told they would have surgery because it was required but it was never done. So we finally switched to somewhere else and that doctor was very disappointed that the surgery had not been done yet and he performed it right away and it was a great success. I would recommend everyone to find a different eye doctor. All these guys like is checkups and easy stuff it seems. Very disappointed. We wasted so much time and resources going here.

I was at the clinic on March 21 2023...I did notice a happier atmosphere than in the past..so I think maybe there has been a shake down...But on the other hand I can not express the happiness that I have since my surgery .. preformed by Dr.Dotchin...I feel she did a wonderful job...mostly because I have not been able to drive for the last 2 yrs..Now I can drive like I used to.and that is wonderful.. the staff yesterday treated me like a hero and I would recommend this clinic highly..Hec Lloyd

Horrible. Worst experience ever. The receptionist is very rude and has no manners. The way the staff is talking to adults and kids is unbelievable. All they are concerned about in this clinic" is wearing masks!! Our young daughter has a very difficult time to keep the mask over her nose and is 'traumatized' from the past 2 years but the staff didn't care a bit about it and told us in a very rude and hysterical way to make sure she is wearing the mask properly. Never seen or experienced anything like this.Didn't meet the Doctor but can't imagine that it would make a difference. If the doctor tolerates and perhaps enforce staff to act like this I am not wasting my time here.Stay away people. There are other clinics that are treading patients with respect.Just look at the reviews.. I should've checked before coming here."

Sabrina the receptionist has changed my daughter appointment numerous of times stating that Dr.Dotchin will be in surgery, she scheduled the appointment for the next 3 months. I have called hospitals to find out if Dr.Dotchin is in surgery for when my daughter appointment but all hospitals stated that Dr.Dotchin was not on call nor on site. Shawme on Sabrina for playing around with my daughter life. On our appointments we've always waited over 1 hr to see Dr.Dotchin. When I canceled an appointment where I have video recorded the cancellation when auto reminder call comes in. Sabrina the receptionist have lied to Dr.dotchin about me canceling appts without notices. Dr.Dotchin has write an awful report about my daughter stating that I have canceled appointments numerous of times without giving 24hr notice. Is a shame how Dr.Dotchin would lie such a thing on report.Dr. Dotchin has discharge my daughter stating she is not willing to see my daughter anymore. Horrible experience. Sabrina is the worse huwman in that clinic the worse!!! Sha#me on Sabrina.

We have been attending this clinic for almost 3 years now to see Dr. Dotchin. Between segregating us for our medical choices during the pandemic, making a young child with constantly pull up his mask (he wore it but kept pulling it down his nose so that he could breathe better and see out of his glasses because they kept fogging up), let alone while the rest of the province is going mask-free, and finally miswriting a prescription and then to be told “mistakes happen”? We had just bought our son new glasses, only to be told they gave us the wrong prescription and would not compensate us in any form, with out any care for our finances. Glasses are not cheap, and too much time had passed to return them. The level of care at this clinic is atrocious.

Office staff , receptionist and Dr Ragan , not nice people. Had a follow up appointment and was treated absolutely horrible because i couldn’t wear a mask. My follow up appointment with Dr Ragan was cancelled after I did all the testing required . Dr Ragan called me two days before getting my results and told me I was not a good fit for the clinic and cancelled my appointment . I proceeded to tell him how horrible we were treated and he dismissed all my concerns. I also requested that my test results get sent to my eye doctor but that never happened either. All I can say is shame on all medical staff & Drs who have caused unnecessary stress and harm on all their patients .

I was very hesitant coming here after reading all the reviews, but much to my surprise this clinic has been VERY professional but most of all kind and patient. Our 2 year old was frantic and throwing fits and Dr Dotchin dealt with it so well. We couldn't have asked for a better environment for an overwhelmed and overstimulated toddler. Dr Dotchin was straight to the point and extremely helpful making sure we had all the information needed to move forward.
