Visit: April 2023Visited El Mariachi and it was great! I got the enchiladas, which was pretty filling! It tasted pretty good as well, though the chicken was a bit dry.I did also have some of the birria tacos (only available on weekends) and those were superb. Extremely hot, fresh, and crispy. The dipping sauce was also very flavourful, so I'd highly recommend it!I also had the carne asada tortas which I bought home and ate the next day and wow was the carne asada meat amazing!! Extremely tasty and works well with the creaminess of the avocado.When dining in, they gave some free chips with sauce. The service was a bit slow, but they made everything fresh.The atmosphere is also great. There's so much decorations and everything just felt really unique and authentic! There's also a mini store inside where you xna purchase Mexican goodsOverall, highly recommend, especially the birria tacos and tortas

Best tacos & tortas in Edmonton. The meat is delicious and they have amazing sauces.Highly recommend Pastor Torta and Carnitas Tacos.

Honestly, amazing authentic Mexican cuisine! I've never had real authentic Mexican food before, such as enchiladas and mole, and I was so amazed by the deliciousness of the food!! Totally blew me away. The prices were really great too, and the waiter told us about $2 tacos on Tuesdays (before 6pm)!

Such delicious and authentic food and for great prices. Also the staff were phenomenal! We went with a fairly high maintenance group of 8 and he took his time answering everyone's questions and orders. Also we loved the Latin food store in the back of the restaurant too! We will definitely be coming back.

Came to El Mariachi this past sunday for lunch. The Birria tacos were SO good! Very flavourful! My boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles verdes and added chicken and beef and really enjoyed his dish as well. The customer service was good as well. Our server was very friendly! If I ever visit Edmonton again I will definitely come back here!

I just had my first experience at this restaurant and let me tell you, it was amazing! The food was really close to authentic Mexican food and our waitress was super friendly. We ordered carne asada, tortas, and quesabirrias and everything was so delicious. It did take about 35 minutes to get our food, but the menu does mention that some dishes take longer to prepare. Overall, we are definitely going back. I'm excited to try more dishes and they even told us that on Tuesdays, all the tacos are only $2! Can't wait to go back and try more.

Been here many times for their taco Tuesday special ($2 a taco). Authentic Mexican tacos, they are seasoned well and flavourful. Great selection of salsa’s to try, from mild-extra hot. Service is ok, a bit slow. We were forgotten about a few times & our server would forget to refill our waters after asking a couple times.

Came here on a Tuesday to try the tacos and can confirm they're delicious. I ordered the asada, barbacoa and pastor. All were good but my favorite was the pastor.The restaurant itself reminded me of being in Mexico with the decor and lively music.I'll be back to try other items but for now can recommend the tacos.
