None of the fruits they provide is decent. All of them are rotten more or less, but the price are extremely expensive for such quality. Last time, I brought berries and it taste like mold..

Besides fresh produce, the staff are good honest people. My mom misplaced her wallet here and retrieved it with cash still inside and a thorough effort confirming identification and ownership before happily returning it.

I have lived close by for 10 years and frequent this store almost weekly. I bought 4 local Okanogan Peaches on Aug 28. When you buy peaches, they are not ripe and take 4-5 days to ripen on the counter. 3 of the peaches were great. 1 was rotten when I cut it open. I packed it in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge until I was out for groceries again on Sept 4.I brought the peach in with my receipt and waited patiently at the checkout, I explained to the lady that 1 of the 4 peaches I bought was rotten, the other 3 were great, could they please exchange it for me?She looked at the receipt and went to the back room to 'speak with the owner' for about 3 minutes. When she came back she explained that their return policy is 3 days, I should have come back sooner, but they will replace it for me. She led me over to the peach display and told me to make sure I pick one of the same size.Really? All this trouble for 1 peach? And then telling me to make sure I pick one the same size? The correct way to handle this would have been to have the owner/manager come out and say, Please be aware that we have a 3 day return policy

I was an employee and didn't understand my basic employment rights and got fired without any warning. I had only 2 days of training (5 hours) and was expected to work fast paced and would get yelled at if there was failure... also when I worked there, some staff would leave the bad fruits and vegetables. Don't reccomend this place whatsoever.

Calvin's is a Nordel favourite. Very good produce at decent prices. Staff are always helpful. If you are shopping on weekends, get there on early because sale items sell out fast. Store is a bit hard to navigate if you are mobility impaired.

Calvin's is by far the best produce market I have been to. The quality of their products is great and the prices are very good. I walked out of there today with 4 giant bags full of produce for $25. You can't beat that! The owners are very nice as well. Its always busy. I highly recommend Calvin's!

Love my local produce store. Check out the deals that are always to be had. Great selection. much better quality and variety than the local supermarkets. Shh...i will share a secret the $1 discount bags in the back are a super deal. I go back there first before i shop the rest of the store. Lots of parking and good hours. usually open until about 7pm.

Business has been price gouging since the beginning of the pandemic. Also, quality has become poor and quantity has decreased. They also do not accept any credit cards and prefer cash transactions. Highly doubt they are reporting all their income to the CRA. Ask questions when you go. Bought cucumber on sale only to find this in the plastic bag which you're not allowed to open in the store

Great quality, good sales prices and a cleanly environment

I've lived in surrey for about 26 years and I finally went to Calvin's Market. I've been missing out. Safeway is way overpriced for produced compared to this place! The deals were unbelievable and the quality wasn't sacrificed. I got more than enough mint for making cocktails and it was only $2 for the bunch. The staff here are also very friendly. I can't wait to go back. Don't waste your time and money at Safeway.
