Sadly you can’t hit zero stars…I just had the most unpleasant experience at the Kingston location. I went in to do a return not realizing there wasn’t one, all sales final. The woman who later identified herself as the manger couldn’t be bothered to turn around and face me as she spoke because at first I thought it was a joke and when she finally did turn around I asked is she was serious, the way she said it I thought maybe it was a joke, after she came off as annoyed I politely asked for corporate number to explain my case and reason for returning to which she promptly said ‘fine I’ll do it if you are going to be like that’ not only was the tone not welcome but the added hand gestures seemed like the woman was close to having a tantrum… I tried to explain my reason for requesting the number shading her I understand that at store level their is only so much an associate can do and that is when she Identified herself as the manager. I would have accepted the return but when she said it was only store credit my experience with her already made me decide I am not stepping foot in that store again. I am made the purchase a week prior and I have a feeling it it was the same woman, and the ambush style sales where they don’t leave you alone to browse doesn’t give you much of a chance to look at all the items and on top of that with a quick scan of the store the area I shopped don’t have any signs that state no returns. I’m very disappointed I would of expected higher service standards from a Canadian company and much better customer service training for Managers.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I met a horrible service clerk. I wish I had her name as she should be fired. Last night I went to buy pillows at the Cataraqui Mall and as I touched a pillow on one of the beds to feel for softness/firmness the clerk briskly approached me and SNATCHED the pillow from my hands yelling “I just ironed that!!” I didn’t know you can’t touch the pillows at a bedding store. That’s not the case at The Bay, where my husband and I purchased 6 new pillows. Will never step foot in this store, Quilts, again and will continue to spread the word of how horrible the people who work there are.
