I recently just graduated from Anuttara Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training Program and am blown away by how much we learned in a short amount of time. From the moment I arrived at the Ashram, I felt welcomed and like family. The community atmosphere really makes you feel at home. The training went beyond any expectations that I had, it was so much more than just teacher training - we learned so much about ourselves in the process too. There is so much more to practicing yoga then what just happens on the mat and at Anuttara, they really helped us to understand that concept. The only downfall during the course was that we experienced a drought, so water was a little scarce for showering, etc. But the ashram handled really well and brought in water so we could continue with showers, etc. It also helped us to realize how important it is to be mindful of consumption. I recommend this training for everybody - even if you have no desire to teach, you can learn so much more than you thought you can. And also for anyone just wanted to get away from the city and to reconnect with nature - this is the place!

My husband and I stay at Anuttara for a week. Going into it, we didn’t really know what to expect! But we were over the moon happy with the facilities, the delicious meals (which were made catering to my allergies), the fabulous yoga (some of the most moving I’ve ever done) and the over all amazing vibe of the place. We would highly recommend Anuttara for anyone who is looking to escape the crazy life of the city, unwind and tap into their spiritual side. We left with full hearts, full bellies and lots of new friends! We will be back for sure! (Also the ashram cat and dog were an absolute joy to be around!)

Anuttara Ashram is an extraordinary place that has truly transformed my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of peace and serenity, surrounded by the nurturing wilderness of the ashram's location. The teachings here have opened my heart and connected me to the essence of life, allowing me to experience a deeper sense of love and understanding. What sets Anuttara Ashram apart is the genuine care and compassion of the teachers, who embody the principles they teach and move from the heart in all that they do. They have created a community that is truly supportive, kind, and accepting, and it's a joy to be part of it.Every time I stay at the ashram, I leave feeling renewed and refreshed, like I'm floating on air. The deep quietude and healing energy of this place are truly remarkable, and I'm grateful beyond words for the experience. If you're looking for a transformative, life-changing experience, I can't recommend Anuttara Ashram enough. It's one of the greatest blessings in my life, and I'm sure it will be for you too.

ExcellentExcellent. The classes were very easy to understand and I felt comfortable at all times, felt treated with love and respect and felt I was in the presence of a true teacher. Classes with each and everyone were very peaceful and beautiful. They all are very energetic and motivating. They teach more than just postures. I learned and improved a lot. Definitely recommend this course and this yoga ashram to everyone...

This place is truly sent from the divine. The humans who call this place home are all so genuine, so real and so safe. I have visited multiple times and find myself always feeling the desire to return. The lineage is true and genuine. The freedom to be exactly who you are is strong. You are welcomed as a friend and you are given a space in which to grow and deepen your practice. The energy is lighthearted and fun, the food is made entirely of love and hard work, the rooms filled with smiles and humour, but also with respectful silence and grace. This is a place of true healing.

Anuttara is a truly special place! The ashram is indescribably beautiful, offering a chance to slow down and experience a different pace of life. I stayed for a week retreat and spent a fair bit of time reading, relaxing and exploring the property. I'll always remember my solo mountain gazing hikes. The yoga they practice is simple and gentle, and is a style I am still exploring years later. This place is really really worth a visit.

Dear you, who was fortunate to find this Ashram in the wide space of the world wide net. This could be the start of a (your) transformative journey towards a benevolent life lived in peace (with yourself and the world)... At least, visiting the Ashram was opening my eyes to see the world in all its beauty and find my way with the suffering inherent in it. Their teacher training goes far beyond learning some Yoga poses and Sanskrit words. Then Yoga is a way of life and they live it!! Authentically and wholeheartedly. I am always astonished by their dedication to their practice and to their commitment to make it accessible for everyone...Grateful that I followed the call to this stunning, serene and wild place with its generous and loving people, I can`t help but recommend getting in touch with them wherever you are on your journey!

The Anuttara Ashram is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.Being surrounded by a landscape one only sees in nature documentaries there is no other way than feeling reconnected to nature. It's the perfect place to have a break from the rush and stress you build up while living a hectic urban life and concentrate on spiritual practices.Staying in beautiful little cabins, fresh water from the creek, making your own fire, just coming back and living a more basic but a much more pure and grounded life with a wonderful and really international and open-minded community.I spent 6 weeks at the Ashram and underwent a great journey during my stay.I had the most wonderful experiences I've ever had with myself and with the community and I found a new home. There are no words to describe how grateful I am that Thomas and Aarti offer a place like this and share all the practices and that I had the opportunity to spent some time with this pure, energetic, healing and more than loving community.I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, there is so much to learn and to experience. And I am already looking forward to come back.Lots of love, Anna-Lena

Thank you Anuttara for creating Yoga Rising! I have been flirting with taking yoga teacher training for a few years but wasn't quite sure I wanted to teach and all I had ever experienced was yoga classes in studio. I had no idea there was so much more to yoga as a lifestyle/philosophy which is something you don't usually get exposed to in studio classes. I am so glad Anuttara included a good helping of this in the course! One of the things that attracted me to Anuttara is your commitment to your students finding their own way/style of yoga and I loved the freedom to explore that being woven into the fabric of the course. It was great to experience many different types of mediation, yoga, dance and other practices (Shin Rin Yoku) to help me discover the beginning of MY way. I was worried doing the course online would feel distant and disconnected but I found all the teachers so genuine in your videos that I almost feel like I have friends I have never met in the flesh. Since I was doing the course after the initial launch I could not attend any live Q & A sessions that happened previously but was able to schedule a live zoom call with one of the teachers to discuss my questions and this feature was especially valuable.Overall I would highly recommend Yoga Rising as a starting point to see if you want to teach and/or just to deepen/broaden your practice of yoga. It means so much to connect with sangha in this genuine and heartfelt way. Please keep doing what you do Anuttara!
