Nice boba place. Drinks are not too sweet, which I really enjoy, and the milk adds a creamy texture to the aromatic flavor of the tea, creating a nice balance.

1 star for the good service and 1 star for the nice taro ball topping. The tea deserves 0 stars.It's great that they are brewing the tea on the spot but it's really just to show off the teapresso machines. They don't use enough leaves so the tea doesn't come out strong, then they cool it down by blending it with a ton of ice.You end up drinking bland, milky water, no tea flavour at all.

One of my favorite tea places because the tea is high quality, and fragrant and they use real milk instead of powdered creamer. The tapioca pearls are very fresh and not overly hard. Downsides are that it’s a bit pricey 7-8 per drink, the menu has a smaller selection, and you cannot make customizations to many of their drinks - toppings may be preset and no additions or changes allowed. There also isn’t seating inside the shop.

Top notch bubble tea. Delicious and most importantly it makes my wife happy. So 5 stars for you! Hahaha but seriously the sweetness in the tea is perfect because it doesn’t mask the whole drink from the tea flavour. The creaminess and sugar in the volcano drink is perfect. The salty sour harmony in the lemon wonderland brings out the natural sweetness in the lemon used.

Having visited on both weekdays and weekends, quality and service has been consistently on point - the staff will recommend some drinks if you want a bit of help deciding and they brew your tea when you order, so you can really taste the tea flavours in their drinks. Their toppings are always fresh; hands down the best bubble/pearl/boba consistency and flavour you can find in the city.They have a succinct popular/recommended drinks menu, but you also have the option to customize your own drink. My go-to if I'm craving for bubble tea.

Fresh brewed bubble tea at CHICHA San Chen in Burnaby. I had the popular milk tea with pearls and it was fantastic. There are SO many bubble tea cafes, so its nice that CHICHA is a bit different by freshly brewing their tea for each order. A little on the pricy side at $8.67, so I won't be returning as often, but I will definitely be back.

Decided to try this bubble tea store not far from the rail. My mind was blown. The tea tasted very authentic and without the artificial taste. I was impressed by the staff and the machines used to extract the tea. I can’t wait for more locations to open!I got the oolong milk tea.

Super good bubble tea! They brew the tea fresh so the flavours really shine through. The tapioca pearls here are also really well made. The perfect amount of chewiness and slightly sweet (but not sugary)! Definitely coming back here again to try out their other teas.

It has been so long since I've been impressed by a boba shop, but this place is LEGIT. We literally made the trip from downtown Vancouver to Burnaby just to try this place, and we're so glad we did! We had high expectations from reading the reviews and seeing videos about this shop on IG, and luckily this place exceeded all our expectations.Green tea with boba: On the menu, the green tea had 3 stars (whereas all the other drinks had 2 stars), so we assumed it was the best?? I'm still not quite sure what the stars mean LOL. I really liked the green tea, but I'm not sure if it's anything particularly special. The boba however, was REALLY good, and perfectly soft, sweet, and chewy.Ding dong oolong tea: From the very first sip, this drink blew me and my husband AWAY. It was soooo delicious! Hands down the best oolong tea I've ever had at a boba shop. It was perfectly sweetened, had a strong tea flavor without being bitter, and surprisingly so refreshing!!!I'd definitely come back here the next time we visit Vancouver. If you haven't tried this boba shop yet, you are missing out!
