We like going to this nature sanctuary. You do need to make an appointment to visit though. A $5 per person fee helps the society cover expenses.

A wonderful local nature sanctuary on private property. Open to public on first Sunday of each month. Part of the Millstream watershed.A variety of nature trails weave throughout the property - from easy to moderate. A great place for nature study & appreciation.

I will have to try again as it is not generally open to the public. There are guided tours in the second Sunday of each month from 1pm-4pm

This place is so beautiful. They are open 2nd Sunday of the month for walking tours. We went for a walk and explored the trails - very easy walking and beautiful view. Nice birding on the lake. Great spot for kids too. No dogs allowed as it is a Nature Sanctuary.
