Sprott Shaw College Richmond

I finished the Veterinary Assistant program in May 2022 and I still haven't received my diploma. There was a lot of back and forth with different people who handle different tasks. I was informed that I will be contacted 4 weeks after last attendance but it has been over 6 months. When I spoke with a receptionist over the phone they were unknowledgeable about this and sounded very surprised. They then informed me to contact someone else about this. I have asked them to mail my diploma and hopefully I will receive it soon.There seems to be lack of communication between staff members as well as towards students. This experience was very stressful and upsetting. As a student, I should not have to wait this long for my diploma nor should I have to remind them of my diploma.

Sprott Shaw College has helped me establish my teaching career in Canada. Instructors are very helpful and continue to give support in all areas. Aside from the instructors being knowledgeable, they are professional, and are able to establish a personal relationship with their students. Sprott Shaw Richmond Campus has a very diverse community and the staff at Richmond Campus awalys make it a point to celebrate this diversity honouring the rixh culture of the community.

I am a student at Sprott Shaw College and I am studying the ECE program, my instructor is Jessica and she is a very supportive teacher. She explains the information in class in great detail. Burke, is a very friendly advisor who guided me during the admissions process. Monica is an amazing director, she helped and explained what I needed to do, when I was struggling with my assignments in discussions. Amy is a very kind administrative assistant and she always greets “Good morning” everyday and is very hardworking. I am looking forward to the rest of my courses and I am enjoying my time at the college.

I am currently taking ECE basic in sprott Shaw college. My academic goal is to finish the program successfully. My greatest achievement in school is to get an A in my course. The most memorable course that I enjoy is the outdoor play course because we get to do field trip in Richmond natural park. My experiment in school so far was good, but I am still having a hard time to get up early everyday morning. Jessica is my mentor on campus, she is very supportive to me and the class because she really shows that she want to prepare us for practicum and the future since she always working hard on telling us different real life scenario and the solutions. Not only she care about our academic, she cares about our mental health as well. I am very happy to be in her class.

I'm currently studying ECE course at Sprott Shaw College in Richmond campus.After finished this course, I would like to be a professional early childhood educator.I'm very grateful I can meet a super nice instructor, Ms. Jessica Chan, she is really help me so much. I remember when I went to my first class, I just arrived in Vancouver for 3 weeks, I was alone in Vancouver, I had no friends and family, I felt helpless and depressed, a lot of discomfort, but Ms. Jessica really helped me so many, whether it is study or other things, also gave me a lot of support, so I am really grateful to her.Besides, our campus director Monica also support me very much, she really kind to help me when I'm feel frustrated. I'm really thanks for her. Actually all co-workers in campus are very kind and always support every students. It's like a family. I'm grateful I can study in Richmond campus.Now so far that I'm in here 4 months and finished 8 courses already, I've adjusted to my learning schedule, and I'm enjoying the campus life every day, also I have progressed in every course.

I just finished my ECE program and I will be going to my practicum soon.I am nervous but the instructors are very supportive.I highly recommend Sprott Shaw College especially the one in Richmond Campus.

I’m in the Veterinary Assistant program at Sprott Shaw and I love it so much. My teacher Lilliana has made the entire experience so fun and exciting for me. I love going to each class. She’s super understanding and will take it slow if there are certain topics I don’t understand. Lilliana is the best instructor/teacher I’ve ever had in my schooling experience. 10000% join the program, you’ll enjoy learning about all the topics! I can’t wait to graduate and begin my job as a Veterinary Assistant! Sprott Shaw made the whole process easy for me.

As an international student, I am so glad to be taught by teacher Sher, the instructor of Veterinary Assistant program. I had struggled with English barrier and could I find a job here that I really enjoy it. After six months, I almost finished my program, and I am pretty sure everything teacher Sher has taught us is really helpful, and she is always be there for helping us. Thank you My teacher Ms. Sherry Moyes !!However, Sprott Shaw College is not recommended, not professional at all. please make sure you have a great instructor in your program. otherwise, there are more colleges you can choose.

Choosing Sprott Shaw, Richmond for my further education here in Canada (Early Childhood Educator Certification) has been the best decision of my life. The services you receive here i.e. from great admin support; talented faculty teaching you to welcoming front desk professionals are just par excellence.Our college director, Ms. Monica Grewal leaves no stone unturned to guide the students and aid/help them in whatever way she can. She is a motivator, problem-solver and an affectionate person who loves all her students dearly. Apart from academic success; one can develop strong professional and personal connections here. I highly recommend this school for building up your brilliant careers.
