Neptune & Salacia Diving

I took the open water course, and have gone on all of my dives so far with Neptune and Salacia Diving. It has been an awesome experience so far, and I look forward to future excursions and certification!

My son and I just finished our PADI Open Water course with Neptune and Salacia and we couldn't be more pleased. If I could rate 10 stars I would. Guillaume, Martine, Jocelyn and Nicolas were wonderful instructors. They were all very patient, kind and understanding, reassuring us at every step. We felt very safe under their guidance and direction. Their expertise and professionalism was second to none. Thanks again so much for the great experience and for starting us on our diving journeys!!

We went diving with Neptune & Salacia Diving last July and had a fantastic time. The welcome by Guillaume and Martine was warm and we had some nice discussions in between and after diving. Both owners are very friendly, jovial peopleBoth dives were on the Wolfe Islander II, and even though visibility was horrible (very exceptional it seems, and most likely due to runoff from the heavy rain), we really enjoyed the dives. Specialist wreck divers will have a blast diving in Kingston, but even without that specialty, there is plenty to see from the outside too! Try to spot some sheepshead fish if possible.The communication before the dives went smoothly and the owners were very fair with respect to the diving conditions (offering a choice of payback if we didn’t want to do the second dive anymore). The boat is well-kept and was filled with locals (returning locals are always a good sign) and the equipment is in perfect condition. Briefings were clear and available in French and English.If you are in or around Kingston and you want to dive, we highly recommend Neptune & Salacia Diving!

Wow Guillaume is my hero! Our dingy was stolen from our boat in Confederation Basin and we were lucky that the police found it. When we got it back, the engine was not securely attached and it fell into the lake. Guillaume came within a few hours and quickly tied a line on it so we were able to retrieve it. He was very gracious and super helpful. Highly recommend him. Awesome service.

My wife and I did our certification Padi Open Water Diver with Martine and she did a really good job in teaching us the basics of diving. She took time to answer all our questions and our insecurities and she showed a lot of patience and dedication. The lesson was private - only Martine my wife and I, which is a big advantage over being in a small group. Also, Guillaume and Martine also speak french, which is good for people from Quebec (we chose to have our lesson in french !)Lastly, they can give the Quebec certification with the FQAS, so no need to do another lesson in Quebec.

Great shop, new spot but old hand divers running it. This is a family run shop — very accommodating and knowledgeable of local sites. Boat is large and comfortable, briefings are detailed, and staff are friendly and warm. Looking forward to my next trip with them.

Great dive boat operation in Kingston Ontario. Headed out to see the Wolf Islander II with them yesterday. Great times. Great staff. The Dorothy J is a solid dive boat. Lots of protection from the wind, lots of space. Great water access in and out.Highly recommend !!Dave Clee

I called with a difficult question and they didn’t know the answer at first. But the gentleman spoke to the other guys in the shop and surprised me by calling back with the best advice available. Not everyone makes the effort to follow up! Many thanks

Guillaume is a rockstar! The boat is confortable and well set up for diving. Been diving with them twice in the past two weeks and will definitely be back. If you want a great time on a great boat with even better people, go dive with Neptune and Salacia!

Love these folks. Great dive boat and extremely knowledgeable staff. I’m doing all my training with them which is a decision you don’t make lightly when it comes to diving. They are also fantastic with young divers. Highly recommend
