First off - The couple of negative comments look like competition. So buy into those reviews.We are from Calgary and passing through we stayed the night in MJ and at 9:30pm we swung into Spice Hut. We were super happy we did!Everything was spot on. I got spicy BC and it was perfect! My wife got the Shrimp Biryani, really really good. Naan was made in house. Chicken was based in tandoori spices.Next time we pass through we will be back!Bathrooms were spotless and super clean. Restraunt was very clean. Excellent service.I popped my head into the kitchen- Spotless.Thank you again!

Spice Hut Indian Cuisine.
I had the lamb combo special and it was delicious. True mom and pops restaurant! The flavours were spot on. The Lamb was the prefect spiciness for my taste buds, rice was cooked to perfection and the naan bread was so fresh I could have eaten 20 of them. But the most amazing was the dessert, it was like I was at the heart of India having a late night treat of Gulab Jaman. The texture and flavour of sweetness are to die for.Was going in with low expectations and I was just amazed. Highly recommended it!

We ordered the kulfie but it had a odd old smell. It wasn't a flavour for sure. The water also had a odd smell. Loved that they served halal lamb and beef. The chicken wasn't halal though. The spices are kind of mild. Would suggest going one level up than your preference.

we were visiting the town and had dinner at the restaurant. Waitress suggested us the best dishes. A bit pricey for the quality they served but food was good and service was also very good.

Spice Hut Indian Cuisine.
All the dishes here are delectable ..I heard a lot about Chicken Tikka… so I ordered that too.. Butter chicken when served with butter naan and i think nothing else can complement this dish more then this...I also ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Dal Makhni and these are also liked by me and my friends a lot .. Specially the Dal Makhni with good color and with perfect balanced flavours..Must visit this restaurant, highly recommended :)

We were driving from Coronach to saskatoon and it was pretty late so we were in a rush. They were pretty fast to take order and took even less for food to arrive on our table.Decent food, great service, little pricey for the quality, nice atmosphere.

Spice Hut Indian Cuisine.
I went late in the evening and had the restaurant to myself. Unsure of what to order, I went with the chicken biryani combo, though I was unsure if it was intended to be a meal for 1 or 2. The combo comes with vegetable pakoras and they came out first - based on the size of that first dish I knew that the combo was sized for more than 1 person to share. The chicken biryani arrived as a huge piled up plate. I'm a huge eater and I got through about half of it or a little less than half. The chicken was incredibly moist and tender - and still is as I'm finishing the leftovers for lunch while I write this. The dessert was also excellent. The combo would have easily fed my wife and I with a bit leftover. Add in some samosas or naan and the combo would probably feed 3+ people pretty easily. It felt a bit pricey for one person to order as a meal, but I definitely felt I got good value once I started eating such flavourful food.This might be my favourite meal that I've had in Moose Jaw after living and working here for the past 8 months or so. Very tasty and quick.

The food was terrible. The service was even worse. Apparently you don’t get cutlery to eat with because we had to ask for it. We also had to ask for the rest of our food because the server forgot it. Naan wasn’t cooked, neither was the shahi paneer. Prices were steep for the quality of food they are serving. And whatever the green stuff was it definitely wasn’t mint chutney!!

We were visiting Moose Jaw yesterday and wanted to try good east indian food so we went to Spice Hut. We visited this restaurant in downtown Moose Jaw and we had one of the worst experience. The vegetarian pakora in starter we almost burnt and seemed they were refried couple of times. They had a big bar but did not served alcohol. The mango lassis were like milk flavoured few drops of mango and seemed it was off taste. The kadhai paneer entree was like it's was just an ordinary curry with no taste. Finally the garlic naans seemed that were soaked in turmeric and served. It was waste of $54.67.Please restrict going to this restaurant. It's total waste of money.
