First time service at Active G&R, and I am impressed with the fact that, 1, I was able to book online in minutes and didn't have to wait weeks on end for a seasonal tire change out. 2, my appointment was for 12pm, and my truck went in at 12pm, not like many that overbook and make you wait hours. Finally, the staff and especially the technician were awesome. Turned out the valve caps I purchased on Amazon were seized to the valve stems. The issue was that the valves had the tire pressure sensors connected to them, so it wasn't as simple as replacing the valves. So they recommended grinding them slowly to see if they'd break away from the thread of the valve. Sure enough, it worked out, and I was only charged less than a half hour of extra labour. I was very impressed as I was expecting to get hit hard, which always seems to be the case with a lot of garages.Great and friendly staff...I will definitely be back for regular maintenance on my truck.

Brought a flat tire in for repair but sidewall was damaged from being driven on the rim. They didn't have a tire that size in stock so I went across the street to CT to buy one. CT couldn't mount and balance it for me today so I took the new tire and rim back over to AG&R. They mounted and balanced it for me in minutes and got me back on my way quickly. Excellent fast friendly service from both front counter and shop. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

I just called and asked about my muffler that I had installed 2 years ago and she was friendly and told me my muffler was under warranty and it would only cost 200 for labour and hardware which is great news.

I just did a drop off as something wasn't right, turns out AC compressor was toast. They were booked but fit me in, on time, price was accurate, now works like new.

We had the car towed to Active Green and Ross over a week ago. We had told them that the battery and alternator would need to be replaced but we would also like to have a full inspection done. They said it wouldn’t be a problem but they were short staffed so it would be a couple of days before they could get to it. A few days go by and they finally call to say that the battery isn’t working and they would have to replace it. We already knew this but we took the opportunity to reiterate that we also wanted a full inspection. They again said yes no problem. Finally today we went to pick up the car - the battery light is still on, not to mention an engine light, ABS, etc. We asked about the full inspection and the mechanic said, and I quote, “well, I checked the brakes”. He also said everything else was an electrical issue, including the battery light, but they don’t do electrical work, which was never mentioned to us until we were picking up the car. As we were driving the car home (intending to find another garage to bring the car to in the coming days), it stalled in the middle of the highway. We called Active Green and Ross and they told us not to have the car towed back there because they would not fix it for us.Save yourselves the headache and some cash by avoiding this garage at all cost.

Rosetta, Ray and the team were great from the start! I booked my appointment through the web system. When I called to confirm they would be willing to use my customer supplied parts, there was no hesitation from them at all. I was able to book an appointment time in less than a week, on a weekend, which was extremely helpful.My front and back brakes all needed replaced (7yrs old and corroded in place), and they had the entire job plus an oil change service done in under 4 hours.I'm extremely pleased with my entire experience and will definitely use them on a regular basis going forward.

Had my wheels and tires mounted and balanced. 3/4 wheels were ok but one was scratched. All the wheels were covered in the tire mounting lube when I picked them up so I didn't notice the scratch at the time, then when I was cleaning off all the excess tire lube I noticed this scratch. Called the store regarding this once I noticed and got yelled at by the receptionist and got told I was being ridiculous and there was no way their tire machine could scratch a wheel. Unprofessional behavior.UPDATE: I replied to the email with your corporate office and store owner on April 22nd at 12:13pm and did not get a reply. I spoke to multiple other shops and had them access the damage and the OVERWHELMING consensus was that it was caused by your store.

We had to have a tire replaced after an Ottawa pot hole punctured our tire . A replacement had to be brought in but was in by the next morning. The receptionist is super friendly!!

The BEST service! This family owned team runs an incredible business - always friendly, always accommodating, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my vehicle. So glad I found my go-to trustworthy mechanic. Thanks!

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. I went there asking for a wheel alignment and for rotating the tires. I was told that they cannot perform the wheel alignment because the tie-rod was messed up (makes sense). So, I paid for the tire rotation which was 52$+tx. I said that this is too much. After driving off, I heard brake noises. I am a car guy and I care a lot for my cars and did not hear those brake noises before. So I returned to the shop. The foreman/owner said Yes
