Parkland Equipment Rentals

Don’t waste your time with this place. I called ahead & asked if there was a power rake and aerator combo available & what their price was for renting it for a month, I was told it was $1,099/ month FOR BOTH. Went in & picked up the equipment, they informed me the power rake was rented out the next day & asked for me to return it for the day, I did. When it came time to pick it back up they informed me they weren’t aware there was a monthly price listed on their website (which is $1800 for the combo, which we are happy to pay) & they were taking it off their website as they were undercharging and their phones were ringing off the hook, so we could now rent the 2 pieces for $750/week or drop it back off.

Worst experience I've ever had with a business. I booked an enclosed trailer over a month in advance and when I went in to double check a week before I picked it up they said I need to to fight the owner for it. He said is moving so he needs it. I told him I was moving my daughter and booked it over a month ago. He said I should go somewhere else.Thanks for nothing.

Customer service is horrible, called with an inquire and the woman on the phone was quite rude. Decided not worth my business.

Terrible maintenance and customer service. We rented a small dump trailer and once we were ready to dump the hydraulic couldn’t lift the load which was simply sod and dirt evenly distributed throughout the bin. The battery wasn’t charged and the handle of the boosting cables fell appart. We called them and they said it was our problem, we had to shovel everything out of this DUMP trailer by hand, when we returned it we told them that their hydraulic needed maintenance and their stuff was falling appart and they couldn’t care less and still charged us their full price even if this inconvenience took us an extra day of work and lots of frustration.

I rented a snowmobile from Parkland and had a great experience. Staff were amazing. Everyone from the front office for answering all my questions to Allan (I can't say enough good things about this guy) getting me setup and loaded with the machine.Only comment I have was the trailer was slippery, if there was some rubber grip then the snowmobile wouldn't slide / spin.Great experience and recommend this place and I will be renting again (if we get some more snow this year).Glen DK
