Running Room

Wasn't very helpful with shoe selection and couldn't answer questions about what shoe would be good for indoor and outdoor running. Seemed to be more preoccupied with whatever was behind the desk

Only place to go for myself. They picked the wright footwear for arches and sour feet. The staff are awesome.

The staff were friendly, helped me find exactly the shoe I was looking for and had it ordered in within a week, the shoe fits wonderfully. The Profesionalism of the staff was excellent

Great staff, always friendly and helpful. To be blunt if ever you've had painful feet from work or exercising go here, your feet deserve a good pair of shoes and will thank you for them.. also check out their clothing, good quality, comfortable and durable, great selection.

Hey folks,Just wondering if you're closed permanently or temporarily (can't see anything online about a closure)? I've stopped by during your posted store hours, but doors locked and no lights on. Have heard good things about the shoes and hoping to find the lights on soon. :)

Lots of good stuff for such a small store. Lately the staff seem a little bit less interested in the actual customers in the store versus what they are doing on the computer. sometimes they don't have things in stock, and I have to order it online ( so what's the point of the store?). But it's still my favorite running store.

My friend and I came into this store together both needing help on finding a everyday shoe, and what we got was 100 times more then that! We both ended up walking out of this store not only with the perfect shoe's we were needing, but with new knowledge and confidence that we gained from the staff member that helped us! She taught us on how to find our specific foot needs and how to pick out a shoe for those needs! FINALLY a store that has people who not only know how to help get you the right shoe for your feet but people how also just care about wanting others happy and helping them get the right tools for their health! Foot care is so important, so if you feel lost and helpless like we did on finding a shoe that will help your feet not hurt and causing other problems on the rest of your body GO HERE!!

My family and I have had poor shopping experiences with the Running Room in Red Deer two years in a row. The lady working there does not give you time to browse at the wall of shoes. She just grabs you what she thinks you need, instead of listening to what we have researched and asked to try. We try on the shoes she brings, and they fit exactly the opposite of what we are needing. The store does not carry any wide toe box options, which we found interesting, as it was listed online that they were available at this store. Why not have a variety of shoe styles to fit every shape of foot.

I’ve always enjoyed my customer service at the running room. Until this last time. I had bought a pair of shoes that I was told would be a great fit, by what I feel was an inexperienced sales lady. She had me walk around the store and analyzed my gait. I ended up buying the shoes and after about 40 km they hurt my feet. I returned to the store and expressed my concern and was not looking for a refund but was looking for some knowledge as to why they hurt my feet so I wouldn’t make the same mistake with the next pair of shoes I buy. Makes sense right?? Well the lady who was there I have seen multiple times and I feel she is the manager of sorts. She was currently busy unpacking some shipments but I had questions. She made me feel stupid, she was very annoyed , and was not clear on her explanations. I was always raised that if you don’t understand then ask questions. So I repeated my questions and she grew more annoyed with me. I left the store and will not be returning there for anymore business. It really sucks because red deer does not have any other “running stores” and I am now forced to go to Edmonton or Calgary. Thanks for that.
