Had a very bad experience.they shaved my Minnie so close she had a very bad rash.had to take her to the vet.cost me $188.00.they weren't at all receptive .wouldn't take any responsibility at all.very poor attitude.will never go there again.never had a problem getting my dog groomed anywhere else.ive been getting my dogs. groomed for over 20 years.most expensive grooming ever.

My dog loved the place. He got to make friends while there and seemed totally relaxed. I have had him at many other groomers in the city. While i never really had a bad experience, this is the first place that seemed like he enjoyed his time.He didnt even seem to be in a rush to leave after. Couldnt recommend more.

Excellent groomers/staff. My boxer is quite nervous and a big barker, they treat him very well and makes the experience a lot less stressful for him, he does extremely well there. 10/10 recommend

DO NOT bring your Australian Shepherd or double coated dog here. This is not my usual groomer. However, when I go on vacation, my dog stays with my family in Paradise, N.L. and they have brought him here to be groomed a couple of times. This place ruined my dogs coat along his back 2-3 years ago, and now, they've done it again. Ever since he was groomed here the first time, he's had a 10 inch section on his back where the hair is stuck up/flipped off, like a cows lick... now, that section runs almost the entire length of his back. A groomer should NEVER cut the hair on an Australian Shepherds back!! They should know that already. If a customer gives confusing instructions on what they want, a groomer is expected to be trained and knowledgeable enough to clarify with the client and to advise or advise against what they’re asking for. Unfortunately, we will not be allowing him to return here again.

While the prices are a little higher here, I think it's completely worth the quality of cut and service received. The girls that work here (and maybe own the spot?) are obviously genuine animal lovers. IDS has web booking which is super convenient and I never have to wait long for an appointment.

Excellent grooming on my boy Jack! So many places have claimed they can do a Springer pattern, but just shaved him down. These folks did the pattern perfectly :) Very happy with the quality of service!

My experience at Island Dog Spa has always been exceptional. The moment you walk in the door, the staff are welcoming and warm. The atmosphere is clean and well maintained. What impresses me everytime I go there is how well cared for my dogs are. They literally treat them like they are their own. Beans and Victor are treated like rockstars there!Their groomers are knowledgeable about the various breeds and different coats and truly meet whatever requests you ask. I love how my two boys come home smelling deluxe and every inch of them from nose to tail has been attended to. I will add the microbubble bath is a great investment. On one of my dogs it dramatically decreased his shedding and on the other it cleared up his skin issues. I also really like the dental cleaning service they offer. It has greatly helped in my dog's dental health maintenance!I would highly recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere! Five stars all the way!!!!

Brought my baby Sammie for a puppy clean up!! Fantastic experience. So friendly and caring and Sammie just loved meeting the other pups. The staff are lovely! And I have no stress about him returning. The quality of the grooming was just amazing!! Thanks guys

Absolutely wonderful staff, very friendly. My dog seemed to love his experience there and looks nothing short of stunning. He was a complete mess when I brought him in and now looks ready to visit a dog show! Wow wow wow! The little bandanna was a great touch to a beautiful groom. Definitely will be returning here!

The micro bubble bath service is absolutely amazing! Cleared my dogs skin up from a rash and left them feeling and smelling great! Staff is always friendly and reliable. Highly recommend
