I am familiar with the Richmond Reception Center inside the Funeral home; as we've used it multiple times. The staff have been on point, going above and beyond to accommodate us.Its heart warming to encounter such sincere, loving people. When my father passed away the staff at Bearcreek were so accommodating and helpful. They helped me through each step, ensured all my paperwork was together, and even did some things with the government on my behalf. Due to their knowledge and expertise, I was able to have the majority of his funeral paid for by AISH. In such a difficult time it was immense to have their help and guidance. It was a wonderful experience from the beginning to end. I cannot recommend them enough!

Doug, Eunice & their staff were absolutely wonderful in all aspects of helping with my dad’s celebration of life. From helping us understand what paperwork needed to be done, to helping with the slideshow, to arranging the caterer, the team took wonderful care of us. They did an exceptional job of preparing dad for the viewing. You could not ask for a more kind, compassionate & professional team.

I like the fact that Bear Creek Funeral Home goes above and beyond. Staff is great, Doug and Eunice are both wonderful, and I appreciate the fact that they said yes to our requests. The only other competition here would have made our experience more about their profits and getting us “dealt with” as soon as possible. Excellent is not enough to rate the service of BCFH to us when my wife Shirley passed away. Sir Doug and his staff gave service to us beyond what they should offer. They never said no to our requests. Their generosity, understanding and calmness helped eased the pain in us. Doug Friesen and his staff provided my family with a very positive experience during a very hard time. The passing of a loved one is never easy but Doug guided us through the experience in a very professional manner.He was very easy to work with. He was able to accommodate requests on very short notice and ensured he that we did not miss key aspects of the process. He and his staff were very nonjudgmental and willing to listen to the families wishes. The result was a very memorable positive experience.
