I recently had an in person consult to address some breastfeeding concerns. My second baby was breastfeeding well until about 6 months old when I started to experience pain with feeding and was needing help. I had initially tried the City of Ottawa breastfeeding support (since I’m on maternity leave and funds are tighter, I thought this would be ok as it’s free) but was only offered a phone call and no follow up; after the limited help I felt hopeless. Due the nature of the issue I was experiencing in person was needed to properly assess things (to see babe feeding) and examine babe and me. I only wished I had started there at the beginning, as the consult at Milk Face was so helpful. Britt was very friendly and knowledgeable and wonderfully gentle with me any my older babe. She was able to right away offer information about the possible cause, suggestions to try immediately and resources for further follow-up. She was encouraging and also laid out a realistic care plan that I felt comfortable with. I left feeling empowered and hopeful. Hands down worth the money and time. I would highly recommend Britt! As note, I have previously bought from them (nursing bras and my Neeka Nursing pillow which I love). This is such a valuable resource in our community, thank you!

Britt has been so incredibly helpful, patient and supportive through this breastfeeding journey so far as a first-time parent. I can’t recommended using Milkface enough! I had an amazing experience at Milkface! I went here for a flange fitting and Britt was incredibly kind and patient as we worked through multiple sizes to get it right. As a result my supply output has increased in a shorter amount if time! I also felt supported with a follow up to see how things were going. Britt was a lifesaver! I was having trouble beast feeding my little girl and she found her tongue and lip ties immediately. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and set us up with a dentist and RMT to correct the ties. My daughter is feeding like a champ now. Thank you so much Britt! Highly recommend!

I'm so glad I found this gem of a store!I have an incredibly hard time finding well fitting bras, with a small band size and a large cup size. As a first time mom, my bra size has fluctuated quite a bit in the last year. At Milkface, it was easy to find a well fitting, quality nursing bra at a reasonable price point. For a cozy little store, they had a huge selection and it was easy to find what I was looking for.Amazing customer service and great selection of nursing bras, especially for women who struggle to find a bra that fits. Highly recommended!

I cannot begin to describe how much support and hope Britt has given me as a first time mom! Went into milkface for some Solutions to my breastfeeding challenges and she offered me the most valuable advice, reassurance and even tips for other aspects of new mom life such as tips for bottle feeding and the proper use of a wrap carrier!!! She has made the first few weeks of having a newborn so much less stressful! Plus her support with follow up messages has been invaluable.
