Lady York Foods

All the regular fare with friendly staff and goods infused with Italian specialties. I also have a personal liking for just parking in the lot vs. going down spirals in a garage. Don’t live too near this store, but likely will be my favourite with the range they offer. Great place if you love your meats and cheese!

Love lady York for its abundance of Italian items and been operating for over 60 years. The staff is the same, everyone has been there long term which says a lot about the operation. Never been disappointed, I go at none peak time say 10a.m-3pm and you are in and out like a flash. Everything is fresh from produce to the butcher section to the bakery section and the hot food section. Public parking is available, if you are in the area be sure to check it out.

Awesome place! If you so happen to be in the grocery aisles, ask for Thomas or Joseph, they were super sweet and helpful. Antonio was also really helpful, he helped me find the onion bun and even kept one so that it wouldn’t be sold out when I got there.If you so happen to go by the deli, ask for Cecilia, she was super kind and very social, I asked for cooked ham, and she offered me a chicken breast, I ended up enjoying the chicken more then the cooked ham. Cecilia provided superior customer service and it was really comforting.Last but not least if you go to the produce, uncle Francesco will help you pick the freshest apples, he was surely the kindest one there. He also recommended cactus fruit, it was extremely delicious!Absolutely deserves 5+ stars.

Traditional Italian supermarket. Great breads. Fresh produce. Good selection of meats and deli counter. Limited hours and crazy on Sundays!

Neighbourhood Italian grocery store. Produce is always fresh. Store pricing is competative. All the essentials. Hot table is fantastic. Deli counter has a vast selection. Store can be a little tight when busy. All in all a very good selection, friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking in the rear of the store if the lot is full in the front.

Best meat deli and they have pizza dough

Excellent variety of Italian/Mediterranean groceries. Variety you won't see at the boring chain grocery stores. Friendly staff. Stores like this make Toronto interesting

Great local Italian grocery store off Dufferin Street.Not as big as a Metro or Fortinos, however considerably bigger than a convenience store. They have around 6 aisles for dry groceries, a back aisle for frozen goods, and the final portion of the store is dedicated to the fresh produce, meat, bakery, and delicatessen.The store has been in service for greater than 60 years, and with good reason. While the dry grocery section can be a bit pricier than most, they make up for it given the imported goods and more niche products.The fresh produce is absolutely amazing, and consistently fresh. The reduced section has incredible value, and often times is just as fresh as something from metro.The bakery and hot foods are easily my favorite part of the grocery store. Always fresh, and great quality. If you go closer to end of day you can snag some pretty amazing deals for lunch/dinner the following day if you don't mind day old" food.While I haven't tried the delicatessen

Please be aware of Lady York as this place makes it a habit of putting prices that don’t reflect the amount when you pay at the cash.Keep your eyes open on the screen when the cashiers are ringing in your purchases as they tend to scan at a higher price than what’s advertised! This has happened to my mom countless times as she shops there often over the past 30 years.We don’t believe its the cashiers because they are just ringing in the items,but we feel that the management has some role to play in this.Thank you and be aware!

Shop there every week for pretty much all our groceries. Good prices and fresh produce especially like olives at the deli counter
