The New Dundee Emporium. High Tea, Grocery store & Fashion Boutique

Mark has become my 'go-to guy' for fashion advice & recommendations. I have a couple of weddings and Mark has made time for me to try things on and help coordinate outfits. Great selection of women's clothing and accessories in his boutique. Prices can't be beat!PS. takeout meals are great, especially the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza.

Excellent place to eat and shop.The server staff were very friendly and accommodating.They started you off with the best warm rolls and butter.We ordered crab cakes and the hot bacon dip.They were both very good.We ate the meatloaf dinner, Lamb Burger and a salad and the Seafood Stuffed Sole ( was to die for).The homemade Ice Tea is amazing!!!Very much recommend eating here

Always a great place for high tea. Delicious food, wonderful staff and a huge selection of frozen entrees, jams, relishes, desserts. As well, the clothes boutique has lots of greats finds and the 30%off makes for great shopping !

I absolutely love the New Dundee Emporium. Sometimes, it’s a quick stop in for some frozen meals, fresh baked goods, tea and jarred jellies. Other times I need a delicious high tea or a wardrobe refresh! Mark and Danny take excellent care to provide superior and personal customer service for each guest! Need a personal shopper- give Mark a call and he will have you looking fab in no time!

Recently we had the “indulgence” version of #AfternoonTea at The New Dundee Emporium. Best bites were the butter tart & mint chocolate truffle. The tea room is quaint, comfortable, and casual. At $39 pp for the “indulgent” tea version, we missed the second scone & cucumber cream cheese sandwiches, so customary for tea time. Some folks may also long for real Devon cream or clotted cream (we prefer butter, which was served). Also, we had to reorganize the plate tiers to this order because we couldn’t handle the sweets being on the bottom tier (haha!). Tea selction is Higgins and Burke tea bags, about 5 options. There is a nice high-end ladies wear store next to the tea room and their shop has prepared frozen goods/meals and other provisions. New Dundee is a short drive from KW, Cambridge, Woodstock, and Stratford making it an ideal meeting place for friends over a cup of tea!

We had such a lovely afternoon high tea at The New Dundee Emporium. The food was exceptional, and the ambiance full of charm. They also have a wide selection of made in store jams and preserves (which I bought and can’t wait to dive into), and I also couldn’t resist buying more of their delicious shortbread on my way out! It’s only a 12 minute drive outside of Kitchener and the best high tea in the KW area by far.

The chef was running the place today. We had a great time with her showing me all the nice things. She was cheerful and an extra touch of pizzaz that today needed. The two lovely owners should be ecstatic to have her on the team!

Had a delicious high tea today with my wife and mother-in-law. The staff were incredibly friendly and there is a great atmosphere to the place, in a very old building that was apparently built for the Queen's visit many moons ago. The store included a wide selection of homemade jams, frozen meals and a boutique with woman's clothes & jewelry which my mother-in-law loved. We'll definitely be going back to support this local business.

Incredible experience for the Queen’s Jubilee High Tea! Every bite was extraordinary and clearly handmade with love. And so much food! There were 5 of us and we all were totally stuffed and still had lots to pack up to go. Mark and Danny have created a lovely little oasis in New Dundee.Can’t wait to go back for high tea, and to try some of their food to go! My French-Canadian husband is excited about the tourtière and I’ve heard great things about their pizza!

Family and I were treated with such kindness. I also forgot my wallet at home, but I was able to come back later to purchase the items I already picked out to go home with. Felt very welcomed
