Cooper Equipment Rentals

Not once but twice, I’ve had to speak my mind with regards to in-store customer service at Cooper Rentals, Stayner. Doesn’t seem to matter how many customers are in the store, if the telephone rings, they will answer it and ignore the people that actually took the time to come in. Very rude business practice, especially in our rural environment. Customers that arrive in person should always take priority.

Machine showed up on time and was in great working condition. However, make sure you don't take their word on pricing over the phone, as they have a REAL price structure on the website, which they insist you should have looked at first as a customer. Because they can't tell you in person apparently

Arranged to rent a trailer and when I arrived apparently the “policies changed” that morning and I couldn’t have it. Frustrating. Taller bald guy (I think) had a bad attitude overall. Poor treatment and dismissive. Another guy was helpful though on my way out.

Excellent selection of equipment, friendly staff always willing to help with good advice, on time delivery, fair prices. Highly recommended.

Paul was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the issue I was having with my well pump! He diagnosed the problem, and supplied me with all the necessary parts and fittings I needed to repair it, and all at a reasonable price! Thank you Paul!

Good machine, friendly and informative over the phone, guys in the yard were efficient and friendly. Everything seemed to be going great, but when I got the wood chipper home there wound up being a couple of wear and tear issues. One was that the trailer hitch receiver broke and I couldn't take it off of my car which meant I couldn't take the machine onto the land to do all the work that I wanted to get done, the other was that deflector broke suddenly which caused a lot of fussing, a mess and ultimately I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. I tried to discuss this with a fella named Peter and that is when everything fell apart. I understand that wear and tear is part of life. I was unfortunate to have these failures occur while I was using this machine. It effected what I got done so I thought I was entitled to a discount of some type. Peter wasn't interested in listening. He was in and out like a flash saying that he would take care of me next time". I had to ask for him to come back for an actual conversation where he was obviously angry. Immediately got in my face. I had to ask him for six feet multiple times. He blamed me for the failures of his machine

Nice employees. Professional setup. Prices are crazy.

a first impression, a veryunfriendly atmosphere, after learning the buy out or take over by Cooper may have had something to do with that...,but soon found out after the return of the Rentalit got worst, not forthright about extra expenses, a disregard for a request by customer, just doing as theysee fit or to suit themselves..also bad communication between staff...are they doing so wellthat good customer service is not important?..I beg to differ with the technology we have today.

An equipment rental company closed on a Saturday??? To be fair their competitors except Home Depot is closed as well.but really???
