Fido

Very misleading information. I purchased a mobile hotspot and was told that the hotspot data plan only exists while I have a mobile phone line with Fido because it is an add on.The mobile hotspot sucked so I changed phone plans to Telus, cancelling my Fido phone. I assumed that since the mobile hot spot plan was an add on, it would also be cancelled.Fido continued to charge me for the add-on for months until I called and cancelled today. When I asked why they originally said that the add-on was contingent on the mainline, they gave me a nonsense answer about how it wasn't actually an add-on, despite what they had originally claimed.

Pure garbage location where they will try to scam you. Doing a transfer from Chatr to Fido. Customer Service could not fix my SIM issues and asked me to go to Fido location. Chose this site as I was in area. Greeted by dimwit Angela Chen who tested the phone and said can fix it. Swaps SIM card after I paid for it and said, oops, doesn't work. Better luck next time. No troubleshooting, doesn't call Fido central. Asked for a refund and Angela Chen tried to argue no refunds. Needed to have a call to manager with screaming included to get refund. Meanwhile on their invoice and noted after the fact there is a 10 day return and refund policy. Went to Metrotown Fido, they called central and fixed my issue within 10 min.

Very bad service! I just left there. Wanted to upgrade my phone. The asian lady in the front was not helpful at all. Just said hi and looked at the screen for like 15mins. Very bad customer service, at least train them to be service oriented instead of just being technical!

I tried to come to this location on November 5th 2022 at 1pm to get service. I walked to the front door and s sign said that they were on break and would be back at 3:15 pm. I decided to walk around the main area and eventually came back at 3:15 pm and waited a further 30 minutes until 3:45 but no one ever showed up.

I had a great experience during C-19. Helpful and friendly staff that expedited the setup of my new phone inshore and also disinfected it after with alcohol wipes. I'd go back again in a heartbeat. They were also very knowledgeable. I can't say that about some of the other stores!

A lady working there was very helpful and welcoming. Explained everything and I got a SIM card from them with 20 Gb plan. Thank you Mimi! (I hope I spelled name right:)

Our family went into the Fido store with three accounts switching to Fido on August 28, 2022. The Fido sales lady Karen advertised online stating two months of phone credits will apply to our accounts after three months of account activation. We never received any credits in our accounts after five months! Called customer service and they said this offer was never documented. A total lie by the Fido sales person. Absolute worst customer experience! AVOID!

I was in the market for a new phone plan and walked into Fido on a whim.Valeria helped me find the perfect plan, answered all of my questions and helped me with every step of the setup process.She was exceptional and very helpful.Thanks so much Valerie!I would absolutely recommend this Fido location for all of your phone plan needs!

Horrible customer service. Switched over to fido here, and the agent helping me was Valerie. She tried to force device protection and buying additional accessories down my throat the entire time I was there not to mention upgrading me to a higher gig plan then what I needed non-stop. I advised her I knew what I wanted, but she was SOO Pushy. I was told I would get a Back Pocket offer BPO, within 3 billing cycles but STILL have not received one after 5 months. It's been a headache since I signed up here. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Terrible experience from start to finish. The lady was clueless and not helpful at all. Avoid this store and FIDO at all cost. Much better customer service/phone providers elsewhere
