One of my new faves for Chinese (Cantonese) food in Vancouver. Dishes are excellently prepared, super tasty and best of all not too salty or greasy. Marco and crew took really good care of us the entire meal and made excellent recs for how to prepare dishes and what to order! The king crab was a splurge for birthday, all the dishes were just as excellent though!

We decided to check out Seaport City for dim sum and liked it so much we ended up going back for dinner. It‘s contemporary Chinese cuisine with high quality ingredients and amazing customer service. The ambience is perfect. High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windowns all around. Staff are attentive but not overbearing. I like that they have recommendations as it shows their excitement yet it’s not pushy. Here is what we ordered:✨Crunchy prawn rice roll✨Lava buns✨Preserved egg and pork congee✨Prawn bean curd roll✨Cordyceps and pork bone congee✨Minced beef ball✨Live scallop with garlic bean thread✨Scallop egg white and roe fried rice✨Truffle fried chicken✨Hot and sour seafood soup✨Pork stomach white pepper soupThe manager Marco noticed that I had only taken a bite off my oyster pancake and inquired if something was wrong. We let him know that while the pancake was not up to par, every single other dish was perfectly executed. He insisted on replacing it for us and wanted to ensure we left as happy patrons rather than silent ones who may not return. They take a lot of pride in their work and this level of customer satisfaction is unheard of at a Chinese restaurant. (I would know, I’ve been dining out at Asian restaurants my entire life.)Seaport City has raised the bar on dim sum and elevated Chinese cuisine. I would recommend it for a professional lunch, celebratory dinner or a simple family meal. We will definitely be back!

Good and attentive service by the staff.Food was good and nicely presented.Price is on par with other better quality dim sum places. The tables are spaciously arranged and aren't too crowded. Finally, there is free parking in the designated P2 underground lot (enter from w 8th Ave). Reservations highly recommended.

You can tell how good a place is by how busy they are….& it was packed here on a Tuesday afternoon! Really enjoyed the dim sum. The space is nice with high ceilings. Dim sum is slightly higher price, but this is pretty on par with other restaurants. Service was phenomenal and good selection of dimsum. Favourite was the house special rice roll. Looking forward to coming back

Six stars! Thoughtful, fresh dishes and friendly, attentive service. The taste and texture of the morel mushroom was worth a visit itself. Each bite was delicious- from the marinated chestnuts to the succulent ginger and flavourful chicken. The perfectly-cooked truffled rice was full of delectable surprises - wild rice, pine nuts, prawns, egg. Great views. Overall, an exquisite experience.Next time we'll bring friends so we can try more dishes!

Don't pay for parking at the parkade!! Just register your plate number at the reception! Like other reviews, the staff are very attentive. Pretty pricey dimsum but seems like it's the avg price of dimsum in Vancouver now. Food is good but HK style rice roll was very oily. One odd thing I noticed is the washroom entrances have no actual doors and the washroom stall doors are very heavy. I would maybe come back once a year? Not a dimsum restaurant where I would become a regular.

Free parking in the same parkade with Wholefoods. Interior is modern and clean, it’s quite fancy actually. Probably the best Cantonese restaurant in this part of Vancouver when it comes to interior design. It is definitely a high-end Cantonese restaurant to me. Dim sum is expensive, but portion is not bad, food overall I think is above average. My family enjoyed the food for sure.Service is really polite and friendly, especially those female servers. They are so nice, it is quite surprising to me lolWe sat near the window, you can see the city view, it’s really nice.

We came here for dinner, the restaurant is located on top of Whole Foods. Free parking in P2 and take the elevator up. Don’t forget to register your license plate at reception. This is our first time here and the decor is really nice. We were handed an iPad to view the menu, we thought we can just ordered off the iPad but actually you still need to order from your server. For 5 of us, we ordered the following:-1. Satay Tiger Prawns Vermicelli in Clay Pot, we were served with 6 large prawns and a flavourful vermicelli2. Crab Roe and Crab meat in Soft Tofu3. Japanese Style Beef Tenderloin with Eggplant4. Stir fried Pork Belly in Chinese Cabbage Stalks5. Steam Fresh GrouperWe asked if the dish size is small, and we were told best to order 5 dishes for 5 people. The server suggested the live fish at $69.99/lb. The dishes were actually quite big.The price of dishes are expensive. They charge almost $5 for a bowl of rice which we feel was a little extreme and it was not even a big bowl of rice.At the end of the meal, there was no offer of any complimentary desserts like red bean soup or even an almond cookie. When we asked, our server just shook her head.We did get a few changes of plates and constant refill of teas.At this price point, I think we have other choices further down the street.

Staff were friendly and courteous, food was actually quite good. The egg tarts were served hot which doesn’t happen often at other dim sum restaurants. Pricey but seems to be on average with other high end dim sum place. Atmosphere was great but I did notice it was extra noisy. Definitely an enjoyable experience

Located in the former Milestones location, Seaport City Restaurant is a fairly smallish restaurant providing some good (albeit expensive) dishes. We came by in early May for dim sum. There is free 2HR parking on the second level underground parkade (need to register at the restaurant). Our first dish to arrive was the minced beef and cilantro rice roll. This was a rather large portioned dish with an inside-out appearance to the rice rolls. Very tasty. The beef meatballs with tangerine peel was similarly good with a bouncy bite and crunchy water chestnuts for contrast. The pan fried radish cake with Chinese sausage was bit on the plain side. But the bbq pork bun with crispy layer was delicately crispy on the outside with a nice filling. Also ordered the pan fried dumplings with chives and the passion fruit coconut jelly. Not sure if they have this dessert on their menu all the time but make sure you try it... Nice passion fruit flavour. As mentioned, prices are a bit high but portion size is pretty good and most items were well executed.
