THERE ARE MANY BETTER OPTIONS THAN THIS RESTAURANT! It was a busy Father’s Day, so I understand the struggle. But it took us 15 minutes after being seated to get a menu, which I had to ask a staff member for, 20 more minutes to get our order taken, then over an hour after that to get our food. The Chalet Crispy chicken sandwich I had was small and flavourless, I’ve had better at McDonald’s on the value menu. Our waiter never checked in to see if we wanted refills or anything, we had to waive down the waiter to ask halfway through the meal for a refill. The place was clearly unprepared and understaffed for such a busy occasion. When it’s busy, I don’t trust this place to provide adequate service. When it’s not busy, there certainly cheaper and higher quality places to eat from.

Ordered half chicken meal ,the fries is too cold and old .Might the chicken too .People yelling in the kitchen as in Bazar.

Food tasted very dry and some of it was very burned. Also charged us a random $6 tip online and an extra tip in person. Don’t go to this place, a McDonald’s has better tasting food.

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely place in Calgary. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted simply melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best dinner we had after a while. Special Thanks to Gurnoor! She is beautiful inside and outside! She made our anniversary super special! Highly recommend

Ordered Chicken finger meal for take out on 06/23/23. Set pickup time for 5:30pm as per usual not ready until 5:40pm. Food was fine but portions were brutal. (5 piece chicken) one 2” long, two 3” and two 3,1/2”. Had to go to Sobeys next door to purchase a full chicken for $4 less than meal price. Don’t mind paying $16 for a meal if there’s enough food to fill me up.

The good: Restaurant was clean, well lit and the tables were spaced nicely. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable. The French fried and rotisserie chicken were delicious.The bad:We ordered the “garlic green beans” and these were somewhat dreadful. They were boiled, plain and kind of flavourless. They could have easily been sautéed with some garlic, salt, butter and maybe some sliced almonds and been 1000x better.I also ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It was dry and not hot at all. The kitchen forgot to put on the pickles and coleslaw and the server needed to bring them out after. It looked nothing like the picture. 3/10 for that one; very disappointed.So overall, this is not a bad place to go. The staff are nice, the restaurant is clean, prices are good and there’s free refills. Just stick to their strong points of rotisserie chicken and fries and you’ll have a good time.

We visited here from Edmonton. I have been going to Swiss Chalet since I was a teenager. The quality of chicken is incomparable. Plus, the service at this place is quick and the server makes sure what else we need is on our table. We did not have to ask for refills. Thanks Noor and other staff.

The restaurant looks like it was last renovated in the early 2000s. There was a layer of grime on the edges of the table that hadn't been cleaned. The waiter seemed very dismissive and saw us only once during our meal. He also couldn't tell us about any local beers despite the menu saying ask about our local beer offerings." The food was alright and not worth the price."
