I’m so glad you asked me to write a review. I was extremely disappointed in the service I got this year. When you phoned to tell me I needed an appointment to drop off my taxes You should have told me of all the changes that you have made since the following year.Pre paying for a tax return is something I have never heard of before.Then I figure ok I’m here, I will do the pre pay.Only to find out it’s also $175 to do a basic return, $100 more than it was last year and it would be 3 weeks to 4 weeks for you to complete. At that price it should be 24 hours.I understand that things go up, but $100 in one year. If you had the time to call me ( a repeat customer ) to tell me I neededan appointment to drop off and pick up my taxes, that would have been the perfect opportunity to tell me about your changes and increases. You got $175 out of me this year, but I will not be back. Communication goes along way.

Everyone was so attentive and responsive when it came to filing my 2022 taxes! I love that they take appointments because I was able to have my questions answered without feeling rushed. They had also reached out to me about credits I did not even know that I was eligible for and missing out on for years, I got a refund for the first time in quite a few years. Everyone was professional and very knowledgeable. Going from my previous accountant to this firm has really made it clear to me that exceptional service is not cheap, and you are paying for their experience and knowledge. I will definitely be a returning client and highly recommend them.

They state that they’ve been in business for 7 plus years, the previous owner was amazing. The current owner that took over last year, is not!! We’ve used that business for 7 years, the previous owners were professional and always pleasant to deal with. Last year we went in, and the current owners were not what we were use to. That personal, professional and pleasant business that we were use to dealing with in the the previous years. They came across annoyed, and not accommodating.This year, I went in thinking maybe last year they were just having new business overwhelming attitude, but no! I walked in as I’ve done to drop my stuff off for the last 7 years and the girl that was at the front desk was unpleasant and had an attitude that I didn’t have an appointment.She informed me I needed to fill out intake papers even thou I was a previous customer. As I was about to fill out the papers she informed me that the price had increased to $310 for couples. That is a $160 increase from last year. I understand price increases, but that much?!!they have horrible customer service, not to mention the price increase. I would not recommend them to anyone. I work in the public and never would treat someone walking into the business like that. Not to mention in previous years I’ve always recommended that business. I will not be doing that moving forward. Horrible service all away around.

I have had my taxes done with HBA since 2016. My income tax returns are always completed in a timely manner and they've taken great care when filing my returns. The atmosphere is friendly, their rates are reasonable, and they've always been professional in our interactions.
