Gowalmandi Food Street
Fantastic eatery for authentic Pakistani Lahori-style food! We tried the gawalmandi chicken karahi and it was one of the best in Mississauga! The barbecue platter was also great - don't miss out on this Lahore fried fish or Chicken Tikka. We also got the beef nihari and it was wonderfully tender and flavorful. Don't sleep on this place!

Halwa puri was average. 6/10.They don't serve puri with it rather, they serve puri paratha which becomes too oily n heavy. Wish they served puri instead.Please add parathas to the menu as parathas are key to Pakistani breakfast.Paya was good and naan was nice n fresh.

Went on a Sunday evening with 7 people. Service was great, servers were attentive.We ordered the food and must say the special karahi and nihari were amazing . Roghni naan were so fresh and perfect.Masala fries were too basic.Really looking forward to our next visit.

Just had experience at Gowalmandi, first I was excited with the name and had my hopes very high. We ordered Tava plate. But very disappointed with the food quality. Bihari boti was pre cooked and they just heated very dry and had to cook. Chicken and beef kabobs were dry and tasteless, fish just ok. Only Naans were good and crispy. Inside restaurant had bad odour due to dirty mob.

This place was busy. We went on a Saturday at lunch time. We did get a table within 5.min and service was fast. We ordered the breakfast special, Nihari and Naan. The portions of the Chana and Aloo Sabzi is less compared to the two huge roti you get.

We tried this place for the first time and so glad we did. The food was extremely delish. We tried their tawa platter, nihari, mango lassi and gowalmandi chicken karahi, everything was so flavorful. My son tried their tikka roll with masala fries and he loved it. The ambiance was pretty nice with lots of space to sit, very clean and the staff was very friendly too. Highly recommended!

Ok Food. Good Zarda. Skip the BBQ and go for the curries. Not busy on weekends.We got the BBQ platter. The food quantity is reasonable but unfortunately none of us felt much flavor. Chicken Seekh Kabab were the only thing that was ok. Bihari Kabab were quite well done & bland. Chicken Tikka boti had no flavor and so was rge fish.Burger is ok'ish. No comparison with many other excellent burgers and bun kababs in GTA.Zarda was a really nice surprise. It came in hot & was quickly wiped out.Naan were really nice as well. They were fresh and soft even after we reheated them 2 days onwards.Overall, an ok place. You can give them a try if you really want to eat out but cannot find a place in any other restaurant.

First time visiting this place after seeing a lot of advertisements on social media so there are a number of things that I would like to point about. Firstly we ordered their Gowal Mandi special chicken karahi that come half burnt from sides as you can see and the taste was just ordinary but the Naans were really delicious. Secondly we ordered chicken tikka and beef kebab that was not fresh and was re heated. The appearance and size of kebab was also disappointing.I have been to a lot of restaurants but this was the first one where I witnessed alot of loud noice specially abusive things being spoken by staff from kitchen. Moreover the place was clean and organised. Servers and front staff was very nice.P.S- would recommend if you want to get sick then do visit this place.
