Cineplex Odeon Cinemas

Not a fan of movie theatres but I really liked this location. Used to the Oshawa one but this location was nice and small.One thing I disliked was the lack of visible signage letting people know where to buy tickets. Also lines or lanes should be put on the floor where concession is to avoid problems - someone cut me in line and I was waiting a long time DURING the movie to later be told they do not do free refills.Other than that, I would go back.

At this location the staff are friendly, helpful and professional. It's always clean, tidy and smells good. We always enjoy our visits. The games are always clean and in good repair. The movie selection is good. The only thing is the price for pop corn is steep/ high. Most other items are priced ok. This cinema is not a new theatre but I love it just the way it is. I don't like the new ones like Oshawa.

I hope they do a makeover of this one. It's really close but coz the experience is so bad (horrible seats, bad lighting and sound and more), I completely chucked this cineplex for movies. Love Landmarks Whitby and that's been out go-to place. But, I do hope they make better of this one sometime soon

Tried to give ajax Cineplex another chance but wasn't worth it. Came to see Mario movie, think it was screen #2 had lighting issues throughout the whole movie. I even complained before it started but no one cared. Tried to get a hotdog , none left. Floors also felt like they haven't been mopped in a while.

I came here with my younger siblings and their friends all ages 13 to watch Spider-Man. My sister had to stand in line for her ticket bc she had a free admission and we already had our tickets but wanted to stand with her while she was waiting so we joined her and an older lady very big with grey hair started screaming at my little brother and telling him she had been waiting and we can’t just bud in even when explaining to her that we are not buying anything. Again this is a old woman with grey hair who happens to be buff and tall screaming at my little brother so I tell her that this isn’t a way to speak to kids and she started arguing with me and scared my siblings out of the line but I still stood there with my sister and she started physically body checking me and insulting me and there was no staff to help and I was very uncomfortable again we just wanted to stand with my sister. When we got to the movies it was very dirty there was popcorn spilled everywhere and trash sticky seats the staff tired their best to clean it but it looked like a mess. Overall I felt super unsafe and it was really ghetto like I never had someone trying to fight me at the movies for no reason I would recommend any cineplex in Toronto over this location. Never had I ever had a bad experience in a Toronto cineplex this Ajax location one ruined cineplex for me.

Recently I took my pal Benjamin and his best friend, Jacob to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever it was a great experience but there were many flaws in this establishment. For one the chairs were sticky and uncomfortable, However I do enjoy going here because it is often vacant and not too busy, sometimes I even have the theater to myself! But this can lead to problems of teenagers engaging in public displays of affection that ruined the experience and traumatized my little fella Benjamin. He keeps asking me what they were doing I'm trying to make these questions come to a halt as he is only eight and three quarters! Please try and stop people from engaging in public displays of affection.

Cineplex Ajax is a great movie theater with ample parking and comfortable seating. This location is well maintained and has 3D screenings. There is an arcade corner and vending machines for snacks in case you miss the concession counter at the entrance. The pop corn is always freshly prepared. The bathrooms are clean but the urinals lack dividers, which does not really cost much to install.

We attended the 4:20 show for the Champions movie.We were early and couldn’t sit and wait in the theatre.There is only one bench in the lobby which was occupied.Once we were allowed in the theatre, it was filthy. Popcorn everywhere. Garbage left in the cup holders.This was the first showing for the day?We were asked to step out for a few mins for them to clean it.They basically picked up garbage but didn’t clean it.This bothers me because I know theatres have mice. I’m sure this attracted them.The only positives were the guy behind the popcorn counter was polite and the movie was good.Probably one of the only theatres without reclining seats.Not wasting my money going back.
