Very welcoming environment. High level of grappling skills for all levels. A great way to lose weight and build muscle. This is a good place to go if you are nervous about, but still interested in jiu jitsu - as being in a new environment and learning how to grapple can be intimidating, which all the students understand so there is no pressure for newcomers. This is not a sink or swim environment, but one that tries to make all students good swimmers!

South Island BJJ is super good for a martial art training for kids, youths and adults.My daughters and I started coming and we love it!
