The staff were amazing! I inadvertently bought tickets for the wrong theatre (bad website design, just a cautionary tale). The employee taking the tickets, Tara, was super helpful in getting us tickets to a showing that started in 10 mins, and explained how to resolve the ticketing issue with Cineplex later. The confession staff were equally helpful and we had tickets, food, popcorn and were in our seats with time to spare. Thank you Galaxy team!!!

Went to see Avatar. Went to get food. They were understaffed. 4 of us. The young lady takes my order and goes to start food. Young Man ( assuming manager came to check on her). I mentioned that others were waiting to have their order taken. He walked away. He could have taken the others orders while she cooked the meals. Needless to say. By the time we all got through the line up. The movie was due to start. The young girl seemed new. When we got our chicken tenders after 10 mins, they were cold. Had to cook them again.She asked another young man who came to check on her why they didn't cook. Said it wasn't her fault and to recook them.Again, this person did not stay to help her take orders from others still waiting.Not a very supportive staff.

Staff really nice but never going there for a movie again! I’ve had the most horrible movie experiences for every movie I’ve seen for the past year and a half there because of how inconsiderate everyone else in the theatre is!! Ppl on there phones, ppl talking, people kicking seats, ppl coming to the movies who are so obviously sick people getting up and walking 20 minutes after the movie starts!! It completely ruins the experience! Going to Kingston from now on, I’m done with all the inconsiderate people in Belleville.

Went to see the new Indiana Jones movie the Dial of Destiny. The movie was great but the theater could do with some serious upgrades and renovations. We had the D-Box seats which you pay extra for. They weren't worth the extra cost. They were very uncomfortable and the effects just felt like someone kicking your seat back. Quite disappointing. We tend to only go to the theater for movies worth seeing in a large scale. With the current condition of the Galaxy Cinemas Belleville I doubt we'll be back unless it's for a movie worth the expense and discomfort.

Clean with a good atmosphere the minute you walk through the front door. Popcorn must have been good as I ate an entire large bag by myself.

My biggest complaint about this theatre is the seats. I prefer the newer leather-like seats that Landmark Cinemas has, but the Galaxy Cineplex has the older, fold-up style fabric ones. Which isn't the biggest issue - the problem is that they are DIRTY. When we got in the room, the lights were shining on the seats (back row), which showed all of the stains on the chairs... gross. The theatre, apart from the seats, is perfectly fine -- but it is time for a seat upgrade, or at least a cleaning!

The seating is in need of a redo. Some of the seats over extend back so the people in front of you can lean their seats back and bump against your legs which happens often. More leg room is needed. Of our group of 12 that went to a movie last night, at least 4 of us had to deal with that throughout the movie. Very bothersome and painful at times.

Great movie selection and timings but I'm used to landmark cinemas with leather recliners. Seats were comfortable but the recliners still could use upgradingChanging my review to 2 stars...are the movies ever going to change. Took my kids in December and still the same kids movie playing in February
