Ogden Point Pier
For some reason our cruise decided to stop here between 8pm and 11:30pm, so we didn't really get to experience much. The parking lot and dock area was pretty confusing, and the security guards kept yelling at everyone for walking the wrong way, so it would be beneficial to have some better organization or something.

Must visit. Offers a serene experience and a good walking trail. Ideal time to visit will be early mornings and evenings. The entry and parking are free and the place is wheelchair accessible.

This is a great place to walk out and experience the strait. Seals and otters are common sightings and occasionally sea lions come in close on the harbor side. During stormy weather it's an exhilarating gauntlet of massive waves and the views of Washington are generally spectacular.

The place stinks! In every other port of call we were happy to stand out on our balcony and watch the docking and leaving procedures, but here, even with the door sealed shut the decaying fish smell permeated not just our cabin but the whole hallway. Clearly the sea gulls are using the roof of the main terminal to gut, store and eat their fish and it is covered in rotting fish skeletons etc. Hopefully someone will think to clean it and then install something to discourage the birds. It rather ruined the Victoria experience for us as now I'll always associate the city with that smell. Awful.

A nice 5km walk to the point and back. You have the choice of walking along the edge or along the pier. Dog and wheelchair friendly. No washrooms available. Restaurant nearby as well as bike paths. While there are lots of free parking spots they fill quickly and have a max visit of 3 hrs for parking.

This is a great place to visit if you are at the Victoria, British Columbia, Canada cruise port. It’s walking distance from the ships to see the water and lighthouse. This is a great walking activity. Approximately 1 mile walk round-trip from the cruise terminal.
