My server Heather suggested the Pot Roast dinner tonight and it was amazing. The roast was so tender you could cut it with your fork. The vegetables were perfect. They were tender but crispy and full of flavour.

Visiting from out of town wanted to take our family out, decided to try something new to them.Sadly, even though the reviews were good 4.7, our experience was anything but good.The specials board" in the entry provided yummy options.We were seated anticipating an excellent dinner.Should have left when server stated there was only one beer on tap

My son and I frequent this restaurant at least weekly for dinner. Prior to Heather working here, I have never been. Heather is a great asset wherever she works, and we will continue to support her and any establishment she is at. She is hands-down the nicest, and best bartender/server I have ever encountered. The entire restaurant feels like home when you walk in and the people there are like family to us.

Lunch time was a good time to go. Wasn't to busy. The staff was really good. Very nice and welcoming. Started with my basic favorites i always pick when trying new places. The food was really good! Definitely will be back. Plus they were pkaying good music that made me wish i had my Drag on so i could dance. ~<3

I have worked here since just after Christmas. I LOVE the atmosphere, customers and food! My favourites on the menu are the Loaded Waffle Fries (it’s a dip!), the Beef Brisket Sandwich, and of course the Pot Roast! If you haven’t tried this place out yet, I highly recommend you do!

Go to this bar all the time and my favourite part about going here is my server heather , she gives amazing service every time!!!! The food is always so delicious!!Come back all the time just to see my girl heather!!! Great place to go downtown!

We ordered takeout this evening and I decided to write a review while I still have the flavors in my mouth :DI got the Loco moco and my husband grabbed a full rack of ribs with fries (it also comes with baked beans and coleslaw)My Loco moco sold me right away- I did pick the food up about 10mins late so wasn't sure what condition the egg would be. When I opened it, the egg on top was expertly done- if I picked it up just a touch before it would have still been runny! The patty was flavorful & seasoned well, couldn't even tell if it had any filler, seemed like straight beef! Basmati rice was well done. The only thing that threw me was the gravy was a little thin and had lots of thyme/rosemary flavor...it worked ok for me but prefer a darker gravy for this dish.The ribs were smoky & definitely fall-off-the- bone, trimmed & nice crust. The house BBQ sauce is deliciously tangy. Beans were nice, but just come in a tiny side dish & coleslaw had a decent flavor but we weren't fans.The fries are a step above! - but again, slightly smaller portions for our takeout.Pic of my Loco moco well after I started into... it smelled great...

So I typically never leave reviews but feel I need to for this restaurant. I literally just left the restaurant and will never return. The positives: waitress was extremely friendly although didn't know the board specials. The wings were a decent size with a good amount of sauce, fries were ok, ribs had a good flavor. The kids chicken breast was a good portion as well. The negatives: If you are a regular at the bar you get amazing quick service, but if you are not then prepare to wait - it took over an hour for a table of 6 (of which 2 are kids). None of the food arrived together everyone got their meal at a different time. When the food did arrive, the kids were served last and 2 of the adults had already finished by the time the kids got their food. Some of the food was cold when served, some hot. The ribs had good enough flavor but full of cartelidge. The kids grilled cheese is literally just that, $9.99 for a grilled cheese, no sides (or at least we were not served them). The prices were way out of wack compared to the competition in Bowmanville today - $8.50 for a vodka drink with no drink menu to show pricing. Also $11 for garlic bread which was a toasted bun with garlic spread. Save your money and go to a chain restaurant, at least you know what you are getting.

My family of 5 called and said we'd be coming in at 8 pm Friday night. We ended up being late but the server, Heather, didn't even mention it. She was honestly the star of the night. She was personable, quick and, genuine with everyone not just my family! She was sweet and friendly every time she stopped by our table and even dealt with my parents hemming and hawing over the menu and choices.Atmosphere was warm and relaxed it made me feel at ease. The food was good. 3 of us liked our meals, 2 didn't, but majority wins lol. The pot roast was soft and delicious, the steak was great and I loved the Hawaiian Loco moco. I'd totally go back again for the Loco moco and Heather.

New owners and the place has been transformed to provide optimal services. One of the owner served us and she was a great host. Enjoyed the food and the evening out with the family. Recommended for a weekday dinner or weekend fun gathering.
