Ever heard of a Motorcycle Mechanic that does HOUSE CALLS? Well, that's what PETE from Baldwin's Cycle just did for me. I live in Toronto but am buying a bike from a friend in Welland. We are running into all kinds of complications with this current Lockdown and I must have called at least half a dozen bike shops to try to get a Safety Check. Because they don't consider it a big ticket" item in terms of profit

Clean and proper dealership. Kind and easy going staff. From what I have seen the bikes are priced appropriately and all stock is in good shape. Overall although I did not purchase a bike here I did not feel as I wasted a trip and will keep them on my radar.

Had them install a new swaybar on my Can Am Spyder and I'm very happy with their service. Will definitely be returning for future work. Highly recommended.

Very bad experience with these people. I brought my quad there in December and it had been 7 months and they did not fix or find the problem. They only put in 7 hours on the machine. Waste of time wont even bother with them wish they were better. Brought my quad to a new machinic and he has fixes it already.

I hate to leave negative reviews but I had to for this it might have been the worst buying experience of my life. Very friendly up to the point you pay than everything changes.Short version - If you deal with this place make sure you have everything in writing and still beware as they will overcharge you, than try to convince you that you owe more, than personally insult you for not paying more after the fact. Also took it to local Yamaha dealership and discovered a few issues that probably should not have let the bike pass a safety so if you buy a bike here get it checked out.Long version -We had made a deal on a trade for a set amount and than once the deal was done I did not realize he had billed me for the trade amount we agreed on not the lower final value of the new sale. I did not even notice at the time as I was just happy to be getting my new bike. But than he started saying I owed him more after the fact so trying to be fair I crunched the number and discovered I actually over paid. I did not ask for a refund as that was my mistake but I presented all the information to them from our conversations to show it was indeed the other way around.At this point he insisted that he was somehow doing me a favour by taking the trade in the first place and that the value we clearly agreed to on trade was what I was supposed to pay not the trade even though his own words copied and pasted from conversation history showed it was the trade value. Once I showed all the copies of our conversations and spelled it out with basic math he personally insulted me and my father.On top of this once I got the bike home I took it to have the local Yamaha dealership and found out there were issues that they would not have given the bike a safety.Also a minor inconvenience but worth noting they do not take debit or credit which for a larger purchase is inconvenient.Beware all around. Unless they have some specialty bike you cannot find elsewhere I would highly advise buying somewhere else.

This is a hidden gem. The staff is outstanding, and the prices are more than fair.I've bought my last 2 bikes from Danny.

I recently traded my bike for another, larger bike. The process was smooth and stress free. Dan and I corresponded mainly by email; I sent all necessary documents and Dan took care of licensing and all. At one point I did drive out to his shop (1.5 hrs from Toronto) to check out the bike. A couple of weeks later, Dan and his helper delivered the bike and picked up my trade in Toronto. Dan was professional and friendly throughout the process. I cannot comment on their service and repair skills; I also can’t comment on any other trades or bikes they have in stock. But my experience was outstanding; he gave me a quote via email and collected the full payment at delivery after I had made a deposit just to show my commitment earlier.
