Dr. Kim is by far an amazing periodontist. I was so nervous to get my tooth extracted and get an implant put in but he calmed me down and even made light hearted jokes throughout the procedure and it really helped calm my nerves. He was so informative and went through the whole process with me before I had my implant done. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an extraction/implant.

I was referred to dr. Kim’s office for an implant consultation. I was very pleased with my experience from start to finish.Dr. Kim explained the procedure very clearly and answered all my questions regarding recovery time and finances. I didn’t feel pressure to accept the treatment and felt I can take my time to decide on the treatment date. I was also hesitant to start with my treatment this year due to Covid, but I was reassured by their use of PPE and the cleanliness appearance of the office.Once I decided to do my surgery, I was amazed how quickly the surgery was over. The lady assisting during surgery (sorry I didn’t get her name) was very knowledgeable and efficient throughout the entire time. Another way the office showed caring towards their patients is that Dr. Kim was always available to take my call during recovery period.The staff at the front desk were very polite and accommodating with future appointments and assisted me with all my insurance needs. They will also call you if an appointment comes available at short notice.Overall I have to say I am very happy with my experience at this office and definitely refer my friends and family if they need and treatment.Thank you for your professionalism.

They have me booked two hours deep clearning. I just got the the first-hour deep cleaning. The dentist wasted a lot of time on ducmenting, saying not important things and finshed the clearnign 15 minutes early. I think the overall cleaning time is just around 30 mintues. I am going to cancel my second appointment and won't go there again.

I have been recently referred to this specialist office by my general dentist for a deep cleaning. I was worried at first as I always have a fear of going to the dental office. Upon entering the dental office, the receptionist was very polite and greeted me and told me to wait in the waiting room. The hygienist was prompt and took the time to explain to me what will happen in the procedure. I had a lot of questions and she was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions prior to starting the procedure. I feel very reassured having my work done by the hygienist. I usually have quite a bit of anxiety with the numbing but I don't know what she did, the numbing did not hurt at all which surprised me a lot. She was very personal and kept talking to me to make me feel at ease during the entire cleaning session. At the end of the cleaning session, the hygienist took the time to tell me that how I would most likely feel after the cleaning and I would feel very sore and uncomfortable up to the next day which my general dentist had told me before. To my delight, I was only mildly uncomfortable and it only lasted a few hours. This has been a great experience! The only thing that could be better would the paid parking but this experience is totally worth every dollar. Thank you for the great work!

The exceptional work of the top-notch dentist is totally offset by the rudeness and bluntness of the front desk person. Forgot to ask her name, but you will figure as soon as you walk into the office.Also this office doesn't claim through your dental insurance, instead, you need to prepay upfront then get a cheque afterwards. They said they're a group of specialists and therefore require you to pay out of pocket first. In other words, they don't trust you as they usually see you only once in a life time. Even I was booked back after my first visit, still pay upfront. At least, they should have told you before you showed up. Unfortunately, you will get caught in an embarrassing moment if you don't ask them on the phone before you go.Good luck, all.

I’ve been this clinic’s patient for years when the previous management ran the office. However, ever since the hand is changed, so is the quality of their services.I recently booked a one-hour deep cleaning as I usually do every so often, but all I got was being left with some of my teeth not even touched, and the ones that were scaled, they all got infected…!Once you have them work on your teeth deep cleaning, you’ll feel how cleverly they just waste time without doing anything significant to bring you back to that chair to charge you again. One cannot expect quality work, at least by their hygienists.I was put with a hygienist who left her chair in the middle of cleaning my teeth and disappeared for over twenty minutes with no exaggeration whatsoever. I had to get up and go to the receptionist twice to ask for her. They had no clue where she was. When she returned, she continued working without offering any apologies, nothing. Upon my question, she responded she was in the bathroom, but I didn’t see her disinfecting her hands in front of me either…! Disgusting…! Mind you, they still charged me for the entire hour and sent me home very disappointed…!I’ve also read some of the reviews about the receptionists and have to agree with most of them. They are so distant and cold in their social skills that it makes you feel not welcomed to their clinic. And, no matter how much past your appointment they call you to the seat, they still finish right on the hour and charge you for the entire hour. Good luck with this clinic.

I was referred here by my dentist for some deep cleanings. The first hygenist did a good job but was super painful. The second one didn't really get much done in the hour and the third was great. The receptionist after my most recent appointment was very rude. I needed to schedule another appointment but was only available during certain times because of my kids. She looked extremely annoyed by this and that I was making her job more difficult. She rolled her eyes at me and said well if you are only available those times I don't know when I can schedule you then". I was not impressed to say the least"

Dr. Kim is an outstanding periodontist. He is super gentle and kind.

I am very grateful I was referred here. Dr. J.W. Martin Kim is not just a good periodontist but an INCREDIBLE one. Listens to you without cutting you off, is warm, funny, conscientious, respectful, knowledgeable and articulate. I could go on and on about the positive experiences I have had since coming here; but I leave satisfied that I am in good hands. I must add that it is absolutely refreshing to see there are still professionals around like Dr. Kim who carry all the traits a specialist should have.

Dr Kim is the absolute best periodontist out there. Not only is he professional, but he cares deeply about each person he treats and spends alot of his time helping communities in need. The whole clinic is well run, everyone is kind and professional.I would recommend
