Lovely wife Pat and I finally took time out to visit this wonderful museum, which has been converted from a former church. Our only regret was not entering earlier in the day. We arrived roughly an hour before closing and hardly had time to see all the sites within. Our guides, Miranda and Sol, did a wonderful job of giving us a history of the building, it's surroundings and the people that lived here.Every question was answered to our satisfaction. Both guides were patient and outgoing. We were able to cover all 3 floors without being pressured regarding the time. Both were thoughtful about us taking pictures (no flashes) and even consented to a group photograph when their fellow guide joined us late in the tour. Emma did the final tour with us in the large meeting room. Both Pat and I were surprised at its size. Wonderful place for anyone looking for a large hall complete with kitchen and nearby washrooms. Both Pat and I look forward to going through this building in the future, especially when we bring friends and family.Pat and I also took delight in seeing a few things in the displays we'd seen growing up over 50 years ago.I recalled a 2 room schoolhouse I'd attended when being shown the room, which represented a 1 room schoolhouse back in the early days here at Lutz Mountain.Great place to spend a couple of hours easily if one is willing to take the time to listen to the intellectual guides, study many of the displays and ask questions.Currently, not all displays are attainable by wheelchair but we've been made aware there will be film clips available from the mainfloor, which is wheelchair accessible. Should you desire this service please be sure to check before going.

The people are very friendly and knowledgeable. There are many artifacts from the Lutz Mountain area going back for several hundred years. Taking the kids to learn about the history of the area is a great way to spend some time away from screens.

We visited this museum today and the host was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about Moncton’s interesting history and the entrepreneur spirit of Muriel Lutes.

I had not been here for years, and what a change. A beautiful building, loads of room, lots of genealogy, great meeting rooms and a kitchen. We held our Briggs/McFeter reunion committee meeting. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This is a wonderful little museum, heritage structure, and community centre. It has all manner of history, historical artifacts, and records you could image for the Lutes Mountain and Berry Mills area. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. I would definitly return someday, and if you are interested in the history of Lutes Mountain and the Barry Mills area this is the place for you.
