You know, I don't give out many 5 Star reviews, but Ray (the owner) and his team really deserve the recognition.Trusting the electronics of your car to someone isn't something that people should take lightly. I didn't. I had dealt with Ray at the downtown Edmonton location of F/X audio a while back and I didn't expect him to remember me. The reason I called him again and was prepared to drive all the way out to Spruce Grove is because this guy is a fountain of knowledge and takes his job very seriously. Ray patiently listened to all my concerns (and sometimes my incorrect assumptions) and assured me I would be well taken care of.What separates Ray from the rest of the car electrical shops out there is that this guy is willing to try anything to make the customer happy. I really appreciate that kind of flexibility. Our car is an older classic" Mercedes Benz and Ray and his team were open to the idea of attempting to fix/mend some of the parts. While those attempts didn't work out

I was having problems after installing a new deck in my truck. I soon figured out, that you have to reprogram the module to have steering controls. I thought by buying the same brand and using the same harness it would work fine. I was wrong. Gave FX Audio a call and Dave said bring the module down and I can flash it while you wait. Took him all of 5 minutes and boom! All my buttons actually work now! Old deck only partial buttons worked! Very happy customer!

Went to get my sons compustar remote replaced and programmedOn his hyundai today.Was a quick and efficient response.Would recommend this business to anyone who requires auto electronics installed or repaired.Wayne and James Colwell.

My fob wasn't working consistently and I suspected a dead battery. I'm not a car guy so I went to the adjacent NAPA to get a new one. After buying they informed me policy said they couldn't install it for me. Walked over to F/X. The gentleman behind the counter tested the old batteries and said he was surprised it worked at all. He tested the new batteries I bought elsewhere just in case they sat on the shelf to long and installed them in my fob. He even showed me how all the buttons worked as it is a used car I bought online sight unseen not even knowing it had a remote starter. When I asked him what I owned him he said don't worry about it pressed the starter, and said it's running. Guess where my entire family is going for all their car starter needs from now on.
