We brought home a lovely thirteen year old boy named Sid today. They were very helpful, nice and caring while helping us integrate Sid into out fur family. He was so well cared for there receiving all the veterinary care he needed before being adopted out.

We recently lost our cat and we are ready to start looking for a new one. We were in Erin and decided to drop in to see the cats. We were told we had to make an appointment!! I have adopted several cats from humane societies over the years and never had to make an appointment! Do you actually want to find homes for pets? I am sure we will find a pair of cats needing a home elsewhere. We are extremely dedicated cat owners with no limits for our pets. Unfortunately 2 cats will remain in a cage because we didn't have an appointment.I read your reason for this and it makes no sense. I find cats long for the interaction when in a cage.

The UC Humane Society Shelter is where animals are housed for adoption. The facility is super clean, and the staff and volunteers are amazing. My daughter got the opportunity to volunteer, and she loves the experience. If you are looking to complete your family with a precious animal, then UC Humane Society should be your first stop.

Lincoln & Murphy (George & Marty McFly) have stolen my heart & I am now their faithful servant for life.Thank you to Sharon & Heather for giving me the most perfect pair of brothers. Thank you for the food, toys & kitty info kits that came with them as well. I can tell them apart easily now by color & how they act. Lincoln (George) is the bigger brother & comforts/encourages Murphy (Marty). It's a dream having them.... I love their energy & how their tails intertwine when they see me in the morning. Thank you a thousand times.

I adopted Jonah from this location over 10 years ago, he’s currently 11 years old and still kicking around strong, he’s a Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Mix he was returned 3 times and was the longest dog in the shelter at the time because of all his behaviour issues.All he needed was a strong owner willing to put in the time to turn him into the amazing dog he’s become, couldn’t be happier with this decision. Thought it would be cool to give an update on him over a decade later.

Easy to get to with lots of parking. Friendly staff. Animals are well taken care of. Lots of animals looking for their forever homes .

They seem like friendly people and clearly care about the animals. The prices are kind of strange to me. A random rescue (let's face it, many have issues) that needs a new home and it's more expensive than just looking online. But I realize they probably don't set the prices and it's a head office type of thing.
