My husband and I adopted a rescue dog and got help from Tricia with some behaviour issues. Tricia was very patient and gentle in her approach to training, we saw such an improvement in our dog's behaviour and our connection with her over the 4 weeks of training with Tricia. We did one-on-one training and really enjoyed the individual attention.We are now enjoying long off-leash walks as a family :)

Diana, my rescue German Shepherd, and I have just completed 4 intensive training sessions with Tricia. Already there are encouraging signs that Diana's animosity toward other dogs has receded a bit. Like all good canine trainers, Tricia was training both Diana and me. She is a thoughtful, patient trainer who is continually observing the behaviour of the dog and the owner in order to increase the likelihood of success. She is highly organized and follows up on each session with written reports which include advice for the owner to follow between sessions. Private lessons with Tricia were the best investment we could possibly have made for our family. In a few sessions Tricia showed us how to handle our energetic, intelligent, boisterous rescue pup! Tricia helped us to navigate everything from loose leash walking to excessive play mouthing to separation anxiety. Our dog is a totally different girl now and we feel empowered to deal with any other issues that come up.Tricia is really gifted with dogs but just as importantly she’s great with two-legged animals, too! Tricia is great!! My 6 month old German Shepherd, Callie, was very nervous around other dogs and as a result I couldn't bring her to dog parks and she was nervous every time we came across another dog on a walk. With Tricia's help, Callie learned to not only be comfortable around other dogs, but she now is excited to play with other dogs and her tail is always wagging!Callie also was quite stubborn with recall and other basic behaviours (stay, drop it, leave it). With Tricia around Callie was eager to please and learned very quickly. I could not imagine trying to do this training without Tricia's help.Aside from her amazing work, Tricia is professional, on time, and absolutely lovely! Her love for dogs and all animals is evident when she shows up to sessions. I will definitely contact Tricia in the future for any further help we need.

We hired Tricia for private sessions in our home because our puppy was starting to resource guard. She helped us with this as well as many other things. It was great having her come to our home and develop a training plan that works for our family. She was very good with our dog and could easily read his body language. She was also good teaching my young kids what to do with the dog and having them actively participate. It really helps to see how to train for certain behaviours, instead of just reading about it. These private sessions were great because so much can be covered in an hour and you can ask anything, and the session becomes fluid based on things that come up. I would highly recommend doing private sessions with Tricia to learn you, your family, and your dog’s potential as a unit.

Tricia is a whiz with dogs! I think Revi would happily go home with her. Her energy is loving and calm, yet firm. All her suggestions on how to work with him have been successful and I love how clear she is in teaching me how to interact with my dog. She broke every skill we needed to work on down into small manageable steps and logical progressions. Her training session notes were super helpful in remembering everything we covered in a session and she is always happy to answer email questions. I really can't say enough good things about her!

We have had such a great experience with Canine align. Tricia is so knowledgeable and has answers for so many new dog owner questions. She is thorough and instructional as well as kind and calm with the dog. Our dog has picked up on so many things so quickly.
