The instructor sets the tone for the class. The instructor I had back in Jan 2020 “George Willeboordse was arrogant and rude. He would make derogatory comments about me in class. I passed course easily no problem but was drained from the unpleasant experience of having an instructor who made me feel dumb. And who for whatever reason like to pick on me in classI took the course last Saturday and had a wonderful instructor Joe Chan. He was opposite of George. Joe is funny, respectful, and made me and class feel comfortable. I highly recommend Joe.

Had my Standard First Aid Training this weekend with Sunil as the instructor - He understood that it was a lot of information within two days. Sunil was clear with instructions and tried to make it as light and fun as possible. Overall great time , thank you Sunil!

Joe Chan was a fantastic instructor. He was enthusiastic, witty, and bursting with energy. His ability to interact with students generated a pleasant and joyous environment. He was patient, looked around, and made sure everyone was doing things correctly. I am grateful and definitely recommend Joe! Thank you so much!

The SJA youth brigade here is really good; lots of fun and interactive learning, and good volunteer opportunities. The volunteers/leaders here are all pretty amazing.I also took the SFA course here; the instructor was Joe Chan. Very enthusiastic and fun instructor; he made my 2-day course seem a lot more enjoyable. A great teacher with lots of experience to share.

The only reason I'm leaving a review is because the instructor, Joe Chan, is a legend. Seriously can't recommend him enough. He made the day pass by quickly without sacrificing the learning. I appreciate Joe's energy and patience. Fantastic individual.

Joe Chan is a very knowledgeable and professional instrutor. His training class is very fun. I am really enjoy it. I am expecting to join his class again for my renewal Emergency First Aid certificate in the future. I am also strong recommend to my family members, friends, coworker to take his class.
