ME1 Sauna and Steam

I have been politely asked to review this sauna, I would say it is one of the best I have been to and I have been to many around London and Brighton, including Sailors in Limehouse, Locker Rooms in Kennington, and the Boiler Room in Hove. It is clean, friendly by both staff and other visitors, open and helpful. Since coming here several months ago, I have been here regularly despite living more than two hours each way by train.As was mentioned by another reviewer, it has a very social atmosphere especially in the lounges, where the character more akin to guys chatting in a pub then a gay sauna. However, don't let you put this off, it is very relaxed, friendly and open to anyone.

I guess you could say I am a regular here, and for good reason.THE STAFF are not just friendly but sociable. They often chat with customers and have a good laugh, thus fostering a community-feel.THE CLIENTELE are generally decent people. ME1 welcomes and attracts a real diverse variety of people with its different themed events: young and old; big and small; hairy and smooth; all colours; Tops, Bottoms, and Sides; kinky and vanilla; even women on Bi nights, and trans people on Tuesdays.GOOD BONUSES: free tea, coffee, and water; vending machine snacks; lunches for £2; free hotdogs on bear days; a regular sexual health nurse; a regular masseur.Most importantly - and the same cannot be said for a certain sauna in London - ME1 IS CLEAN. The staff care, and are often seen around checking the facilities. The facilities are good! The hot tub is always at least very comfortably warm, often hot. The dry sauna is good quality wood. The steam room is good. The private cabins have recently been given a revamp and are better than ever. There are 2 UV lit dark rooms with tables, a bondage cross, and a sling; and there is also a pitch black room.Aside from the main relaxation facilities, there are 3 general lounge areas with seating/sofas, thus giving the whole place a very relaxed and social vibe. It is no surprise that, while guys come for sex, many come and spend plenty of time chilling out and making friends.

Best venue I've ever visited. I regularly travel from London to visit ME1, and I know other people come from further away because it is such a great quality space. Clean and very well kept, with loads of space.. Can't believe more people don't go!

I love this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. You get free tea and coffee. I love the steam room and Sauna. And also the Jacuzzi is really relexing. I love the chilled out areas etc. The guys are also friendly with a great atmosphere.

First time visiting yesterday, was good fun! I’d say cleanest by far from all venues I’ve been too. Facilities were 10/10. The clientele may not be for everyone but I enjoyed myself.I liked the small touches such as glasses holder near the jacuzzi. You can tell it’s well managed.Will be back again soon

Me1 sauna has been a regular place for myself and my partner to visit . We have been coming for a number of years now and its got to be close to when they 1st opened some years back. Admittedly due to work we can mostly only visit on a Sunday afternoon but have had the pleasure of a few furry Fridays too .You really wouldn't find a better place to chill and relax where its a friendly and clean place and something for everyone.

Every time I visit, these guys have improved something or added a something new. The place is looking amazing and is definitely the friendliest sauna around.Facilities always immaculate and staff friendly as always. Nice big sauna and steam room downstairs and great, comfortable play areas upstairs. The new cabins are great.The free hot drinks is a nice touch that other places are no longer offering. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys.Really nice crowd of regulars who go along, creates a nice and welcoming atmosphere.Never any complaints from me. Thank you ME1!

I have always said your business is only as good as the staff and ME1 comes out on top. The facilities and atmosphere could not be any better. Very well attended to and clean from top to bottom. If there’s not an ME2 in the making then get on it. Well done.
