Came here for breakfast and dinner, and the service was excellent on both occasions. I have to say the breakfast was more delicious, and I would definitely recommend to sit at a table by the window, because the view is beautiful.

Lovely place for an excellent meal. Super staff. The views are breath taking.Parking is limited near entrance to restaurant. Call them to discuss options for your needs. We parked by the resort reception and walked down through the pool area, as instructed by staff. They have a golf cart they may use to help you get there too.

A five star may be to much, but four stars wasn't enough. We had a great brunch experience. 7 people with a 12:30 reservation. We ordered a good part of the menu. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food was outstanding. Smoked Meat and Hash, was absolutely delicious, I would add a second egg. My favourite was the Chai Bread Pudding with slivered almonds, just yum. Two ordered the Pulled Pork French toast, I have a six year old that was stealing the pulled pork from other people's plate. Finshed with the Sticky Buns and a birthday dessert. Parking is a bit funky and not well laid out for the Boathouse. Overall, outstanding food with amazing service and beautiful views. Work out the parking.

If you choose to watch sunset at dinner, this is it. The restaurant has a huge patio right by the waterwith unobstructed view. Just take a deep breath.Bon appétit!

Went for mother's day brunch, had a beautiful table on the deck looking over the lake. Food was decent, they served (home fries, bacon, turkey sausage, eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, and smoked turkey) buffet style as the main foods. I expected more options honestly, especially given the $50 per person price tag. I also expected the food to taste a bit better, dessert options were very few. Plus the drink (coffee and juice) were extra charge. Ended up paying over $200 for 3 people for what I consider to be a meal worth $30 per.

Good food, great service. Had the Boathouse burger. The Boathouse restaurant is part of Taboo resort - parking is limited… we parked across from the hotel and walked to the restaurant.

Had the pleasure of dining here several times on the May long weekend! Along with the exceptional food, all of the servers and Manager provided us with a wonderful customer experience which kept us coming back all weekend. Even after check out and a round of golf we came back to have their unique and super tasty Caesar salad before heading home. Highly recommend.

When you have celiac, eating out can be difficult. However, they took it very seriously here and made a special dinner that ensured no cross-contamination. It was very good as well! Thank you.

The view is very scenic. They allow outsiders to dine in and take out but the property is private and the one's who dont have the resevation in the taboo resort they are not allowed to take advantage of their private beach ( attached to the boathouse restaurant). Its better to reserve the resort too to take proper advantage
