The barber on Locke

Marwan is an amazing barber. Gives extremely good haircuts and beard trims. Him and his team are very friendly. Would highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Marwan & the team at the Barber on Locke. I was looking for a barber after covid and found them. I am particular in how I like my haircut and they do a great job. I bring my little ones to Marwan since he is patient and accommodating. I highly recommend the Barber on Locke!

I tried Marwan once over a year ago and it was the best haircut I have ever had and since then I have been driving all the way from Mississauga to Hamilton for a haircut. I will recommend this barber any day any time.

Marwan has been my barber for over 10 years. He always does a great job and takes his time to do it properly. Amir is a great barber as well. He has done my last few cuts and they were excellent. Great shop, prompt courteous service. You should book your appointment as they're very popular.

The worst service ever, marwan has such a bad attitude and is absolutely garbage service. He booked an appointment with other barber and when i said i want cut from him, he argued back.

First time ever going there and will be the last time. I always find 5 stars very skeptical with no bad reviews, so here is one. To start off, I was disappointed with Amir Bahador. In contrast, he has good behaviour but was amateur with cutting hair. I only asked to trim the top and fade the sides. I had fairly long hair up top which took a couple months to grow. I confirmed to cut off an inch up top but instead he cuts it his own way. I couldn’t see too far because I had my glasses off but he cuts off about 2 inches on top in total, faded the side to the point were the top of the hair becomes more narrower and shaves the sides bold to make the forehead wider. Overall, the hair looks too short were I might as well shave the head and start off by scratch because there isn’t much room to style it. However, the average part of the cut was the side fade. Not worth $35 compared to other places with the same price.

Marwan is a great barber, paid attention to detail and nice shop on Locke w/ parking. Booked an appointment same day. I highly recommend The Barber on Locke.

Best barber in Hamilton by a mile and a half, and well worth the money. Anyone who wants a REAL barber, go see Marwan, you won’t regret it.

Honestly, pretty disappointed with Marwan on this one.To start off, I had booked a cut for 1PM and Marwan didn't get started with me till 1:17PM (I remember checking the time). I understand being a bit past time, but almost 20 minutes is frustrating.He seemed to be buddies with the guy I was waiting on and took a ton of time finishing his cut.Following that, he rushed my haircut and finished it in barely 25 minutes.The frustrating thing is I could see the guy before me got a great cut, but Marwan hurried mine for whatever reason and left me with a weird shape on the crown of my head, and sloppy untrimmed areas on the back.The next haircut I got, the new barber basically asked me what the heck the last barber was doing.I know Marwan is capable of cutting hair well, but treating a paying customer with such lack of attention -- especially right after taking so much time on the cut before me -- left a bad taste in my mouth.
