Belmont Properties

I'm living in a Belmont properties building for over 5 years, and I can say from my experience that they have gotten much better in these past couple of years. It seems like they made some staff changes, and it is a big improvement. There is a new young manager, Phil(?) who is like a rockstar. He is very helpful and patient with us, because I know my english is not the best. My daughter says he is very handsome too ha ha. Belmont was very smart to hire him and it is a big change for the company. He and Adriana are a great team and it seems like Belmont is improving the whole company. I don't give 5 stars because they still have more to do like the building hallway carpets are very old and need to be changed, and some other things. But it is very noticeable that its better in these years

Marinela ensured our building was well kept up and was available to help out whenever anyone needed. She truly cares about her tenants and helped me out promptly on several occasions, whether it was lost keys, repairs, and the move-in and move-out processes couldn't have been easier.Overall, it was a great experience living in Summit House.Recommend!

I stayed at the Vine Street apartments for three years. Right from day one, Marinela the site manager has been excellent. She is very quick and super efficient in sorting any problems with the apartment. She is always smiling and full of energy. She made my stay very comfortable and memorable. I hope the management takes good care of her. It is hard to find exceptional workers like her these days.

Have lived here over 6 years and stay due to the crazy rental market. The building manager is great and does her best but the company is very cheap and does not maintain the building well or do proper repairs. Their idea of fixing torn carpet on stairways of building is to put duct tape on it which does not last and is not safe. Any repair in unit is poorly done and left looking ugly. Not a good company and clearly it's management does not respect their tenants. Just want to take every cent and give nothing back in rental value. They act here in reviews that they care, but try contacting the property manager and you and any concern will just be ignored.

My husband and I lived at Summit House for 4-1/2 years and would highly recommend this building. Our manager, Marinela, is an incredible person who is very honest, kind and one of the hardest working managers I have ever known. If we could give her 10 stars we would! She is constantly working but never too busy to answer the phone or help with any inquiry or problem. The building is very clean and the tenants are very friendly. Thanks to Marinela, we always felt safe in this building. We will sincerely miss her constant smiles and positive attitude, as well as her love for people and her family. Belmont Properties is very fortunate to have her as an employee.

Belmont properties has gone downhill. We've lived here over 8 years, only because the rental market is too expensive. In all that time we have asked only for minor repairs even though by law we should've gotten much larger repairs done without asking. This building is non-smoking however many tenants in the building are smoking on their balconies or units. Management doesn't uphold building rules and regulations, ignoring tenants concerns unless proof is given. Many times I've reported smoking and late night parties way past noise curfew to uphold building rules and out of concerns for my children's wellbeing. However doing so has gotten me labeled as a 'difficult tenant'. I don't think of myself as a difficult tenant when I am only following rules and giving the best life I can give for my children.

Excellent building manager. Marinela takes very good care of the building, grounds, and tenants.Old buildings like the one I lived in are rarely this well maintained. When we moved in, all walls had fresh paint, new fixtures, and a spotless kitchen and bathroom.Location was amazing and close to everything including transit.The residents in the building are very quiet and the building itself is very well isolated from sound.The property I stayed at was huge compared to tiny vancouver apartments, yet still very affordable.

My 1 year at Savoy Towers was pleasant and I felt safe and comfortable.The neighbours are friendly and the building manager is very professional, courteous and receptive if issues occur.The building is kept clean and well maintained.I liked the layout of my suite - it was open and spacious with a decent size bedroom.My suite faced southeast and since there are buildings that surround all directions (except west with Elm park) the balcony/living/dining and bedroom view faced direct into the dinning/living...bedrooms of neighbouring buildings.Privacy curtains and blinds can solve this issue if privacy is of concern.The location is in prime Kerrisdale neighbourhood with ease and accessibility to public transportation, shops, restaurants, amenities and more.I appreciate the peace, quiet and sanctuary my experience at Savoy provided, both my cat and I sincerely appreciate this is a pet friendly building.Thank you.

Very Beautiful properties but unfortunately property management don’t care about requests and calls and emails. There was an open house event, we had viewing and shows our interest to the place, I sent several text and voice massages which remained unanswered.

My family lived in Dover House for 12 years and have been through three building managers. Marinela is, without a doubt, our favourite. Not only is she responsive and helpful, but she always carries a cheerful demeanour. Even after we decided to move out, she went above and beyond her duty to give us contacts/tips on maintaining a home. We've been so fortunate to have her take care of our home needs all those years! :)
