We've been here 3 times now and each time I'm so glad I stopped going to my dog's first vet. He doesn't like being touched by strangers and, unlike his last vet that insisted on heavy sedative via injection for every visit, the staff at Coquitlam Animal Hospital give us the option of light sedation in the form of pills which is much less traumatic for him. Yes, he's had to be fully sedated here too, but for a good reason. I appreciate their care and ability to address any concern or question we have.

We've never been there before and had a scare with our cat that was unexpected. Went right at open and explained the situation while frazzled. We had no appointment. The receptionist was great and made us feel like she'd do all she could to get us in. Dr.Maggie saw us even though they were quite booked up. She was kind, attentive, and clearly cared. Things were explained clearly, including price. They all made us feel welcomed, unjudged and that we weren't a bother. I'm grateful they saw us so fast and unscheduled; it ease our worries. We left with items needed and a cat on his way to feeling better. Thank you

My dog was sick and they could immediately find someone to help her on the same day. I brought a poop sample and I really appreciate how quickly Maggie (Magdalena) was able to give me the result on the same day. I was able to get the medicine before they closed. My dog felt so much better the next day and I'm so relieved. Also, no matter how many questions I asked them... they were always patient, helpful and professional. Thank you so much!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff will bend over backwards to help you, and they’re always friendly and polite. They’ve helped me with a ton of insurance problems I’ve had and at no point have I felt like an inconvenience. My cat has been seen by Dr. Paunovic and he’s thorough, informative, and clearly passionate about his job. My cat is an absolute horror at the vet but he and his team of assistants/technicians have never complained and are patient when treating him.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to take their animals.

Our dog has been with Coquitlam Animal Hospital since she was 8 weeks old. She has so many health issues since she was young. She is now 14+ years. Dr. P , Dr. Maggie and the staff at Coquitlam Animal Hospital always provide excellent care for our dog, they take their time to explain the issues, and they are always available to answer our questions. I highly recommend Coquitlam Animal Hospital to any one who are looking for a vet. They truly care about your pet well being.

I brought my 2 kitties here for a check-up and to look into some new behaviour changes. The staff was really kind and the doctor spent a lot of time with us, listening and gathering all of the background information. I never felt rushed and they were very accommodating with offering different ways we could approach our investigation into the behaviours. I will gladly make this my permanent vet for my cats.

I have had great experiences with all of my visits over the last 2 years, and all of the staff we have seen when bringing our cat Olive in for checkups. They never rush us and always ask if all our questions were answered. The staff are very friendly and helpful, including the staff at the front desk. The only thing that has ever seemed a bit odd is that when I brought Olive in for a dental checkup, I was told she should get some dental x-rays and cleaning done sometime soon. This was made clear it was not urgent, but I thought it was odd that with this recent visit, both the Vet and the Vet Tech said her teeth looked totally fine. Maybe this is subjective, or maybe the other Vet was more of a dental specialist, or trying to be proactive, but we're not in a position to spend 2k on her teeth at 2 years old, so I'm glad the recent visit there was no concerns. Thank you!

Great people. Vaccine and annual check up fees were very reasonable. 3 vaccine and annual wellness check up was less than $180. Dental work is not cheap. But it is not only cleaning but also x-ray and full dentals. If you are not regularly cleaning your dog teeth with professional, needs to be done once your dog getting older and losing teeth.
