Marven's Falafel
My goodness I just had lunch here and the entire experience was AMAZING. The woman making my food was so kind, she is absolutely lovely. And the food was so unbelievably delicious, it tasted so fresh and was made with care. Thank you so much, and that chai tea was the perfect addition to warm me up. This is a must try place.

We had chicken and lamb plate. The girl from the shop is really nice and served Chai Tea and few falafels for free. Been looking for this kind of food that could give you authentic taste and now we found one.

Excellent falafel and shawarma. I like the mango sauce (?) that they put and the salad is also nice and crisp. The hummus was a bit on the sour side but also very good. As good as it gets with this type of cuisine and quick and courteous service. Highly recommended.

Malvina at Marvens Falafel is not only serving up some of the best food I’ve ever tasted (made fresh each day by her Mum) but is such a bright, shining star of a person. This is a true food and people experience that isn’t to be missed. Thank you, Malvina - we’ll be back.

Marven's Falafel
I have been walking by this place all summer and exchanging greetings with the gracious owner, Marven. Finally, today I decided to try a take home meal, Marven's sister was tending shop and gave me an Iraqis Chai while she prepared a full prepped a full course meal from her mother's traditional recipes. I was looking forward to a quick meal, but when I got home and tasted, it was gourmet that came to mind. What a treat and so well presented. When I cleaned up I found a bonus, the serving tray is recyclable corn starch material. I will be back.

Marvins Falafel is just down the street from us and its got to be one of our favourite local business in New West! The staff are so friendly and offer us a warm drink while we waited for our food. Definitely recommend trying them out.

Wouldn’t expect much from passing by this cart…but what awaits you is friendly service and delicious food on Columbia & Eighth.Falafel plates were fresh and seasoned well. Came with a nice warming chai tea to complete the meal.They accept phone orders as well!
