Mechanic on duty

Why is there no option for negative stars!! The worse technician I have ever encountered in my life. How does he even have good ratings? Called him as his first customer as I was facing issues with my car he says to come to his shop. It was an emergency and I didn't live here in Newmarket, he says to go back to where I stay and get it fixed. Go back to school my guy.

Would have given -5 if i could ,the guy doesn’t know how to talk , go get some etiquettes first ,if u cant take work stress don’t work just leave it and learn something about customer service , if u have put your number on google people will ask questions about the stuff they want to get done , done be stressed about the calls poor guy.

We were looking to buy back my wife's vehicle after the lease was up and required a safety test completed. After a mechanic near us tried to upsell us (see my other reviews, but I'll leave them out of this one) we went to Mohan as recommended by my Father-In-Law.We explained why we were there to Mohan, and he took the time to give us advice/tips on how to get the best value out of the buy back condition right off the bat. He then did a thorough check, gave us a very honest opinion on the state of the vehicle, and signed off on the safety. No upselling, no trickery, and fully transparent. Walked us through the entire process.He did say to keep an eye on a few things that may need replacement in the future, but he gave us multiple options at varying price points and explained what each product/part would do for us to help us in our decision making.Mohan was professional, polite, friendly, and just seems like a man of good character. I will definitely be making the trek to him from Scarborough for all my car servicing needs from here out.

Mohan is the best. Everyone in the area I've spoken with has been going yo him for years. He's friendly, knowledgeable, quick and will get your car back, or keep it in good condition.

If you asked most people what they want in a mechanic, they would likely say honest, reliable and fast. This place delivers on all three. It is so refreshing to take your car in and not feel like you're being taken advantage of, or that the repairs won't be handled well. I can't recommend Mechanic On Duty highly enough.

Mohan went above and beyond for us! I called him on the afternoon of the first big snowfall to see if there was any chance he had time to swap my tires over to my winters. He said he was very busy but still told me to bring my car over and he would get it done for me. This wasnt just simple swap either! He even stayed late to ensure the job got done. What amazing service and with a smile. He is a great guy and I really appreciate all he did for us. Thanks Mohan!

Five stars are not enough – I wish I could give him ten stars! HIGHLY recommend! I can't think thank Mechanic on Duty enough! My drive belt broke on a trip I was taking, far away from home, on a Friday night – and he had me back on the road again by Saturday afternoon. He even gave me an itemized, thorough, and honest price breakdown for the work he did. So kind, reasonable and professional!
