What a lovely place! I’ve never really been exposed to Indigenous Canadian food so I was really excited to try Feast Cafe. I was not disappointed…the use of Bannock for the delicious Tipi taco to the amazing Bannock pizza. It is a gorgeous little spot with lovely service too. Recommend completely!!!

While in Winnipeg, I visited Feast Cafe Bistro. This is a unique Indigenous restaurant with amazing food.I started off with the Butternut Squash Soup with coconut milk and a hint of ginger with corn chips. This was one of the best soups I’ve ever had! The combination was fantastic and it was very flavourful.I then had the Slow-Roasted Rosemary Manitoba Bison, served with potato squash mash, seasonal vegetables, horseradish, gravy jus, & wild blueberry compote. It was without a doubt an outstanding dish. The bison was soft, lean, and very rich in flavour, and the combination of the mashed potatoes and the wild blueberry compote skyrocketed the flavour of the dish because it added a bit of sourness and sweetness to activate all the flavours of the mouth. The service was outstanding and the establishment was clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits or lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba!

Had the fire-roasted buffalo lasagna dish for dinner when I was here for a business night out with several colleagues. Tables were reserved and place had a good atmosphere to have a good discussion. Food was plentiful and delicious and with good service. Can easily share the lasagna with another person. The menu is full of many dishes and I was split with wanting the homestyle bison chili, too.Had a friend meet me here on a Saturday when I rode my bike in as I was craving this chili dish from my last visit. Had it with a Caesar salad and matched well together. The chili was just as I imagined - perfect and I would have it again, and again. The Bistro is beautiful inside and nicely done throughout. The attention to detail inside as well as with their food makes this a superb neighbourhood bistro.

Tried this place for the first time tonight for date night. Lovely little place! Cozy and intimate.Had the bison ribs which were incredibly tender. Not a huge serving, but WELL worth it! Enjoy every bite! Savour it.Wife had the Feast Bannock pizza, which was also delightful. Great bannock crust, wonderful toppings.Looking forward to making a return and trying some other menu items!Oh. Also, London Fogs are just great.

Amazing! Like I do mean the food was amazing! Had their cheddar bison burger with bacon and their bison chili and manitba poutine! WoW the 1st couple of bites blew me away! The flavor was on epic proportions! The berry BBQ sauce... very tasty! As for the pouting! Im not sure what my favorite part of that was! Toss uo between how hardy it was or the gravy!! Price little high but definitely worth every morsel I slammed down lolz! Can't wait for my next visit to try out their dinner menu!

Great food with amazing service. I had the braised bison rib and it was one of the best meals I had in Winnipeg. Sweet grass and blueberry ice cream is also great. Prices are also great.

Tbh i was disappointed. I hate to say that. I was really hyped up to go here. I was thinking I would be getting a huge fresh hot fried bannock. I didn't :(I was told that it was really good here, so I couldn't wait to try it. I looked at the display case and wasn't too impressed with what they had to offer. And I was hoping that the items did not look like the samples in the case. They were round, flat, and nothing really in the middle of them. I really think they were like dinner bun dough, not Bannock dough. They in my opinion were not Fried Bread that im used to.I got a plain one with jam and it wasn't hot at all but the jam was good. We also got a cinnamon sugar one, that was also not hot and it was just okay.My daughter got the Vanilla and Wild berry one. She said it was good. Again not hot, not even warm. When I tasted it, I didn't care for it. I thought we were getting real wild berries on it. We also ordered the side of Wild rice. It seemed to be heated up maybe in a fry pan with grease..?!? Im.not sure it was just ok also.Overall I think I had an idea in my head and it didn't meet that expectation at all. Also the service wasn't that great. No smiles, no friendliness, just get the order, get it done, put it through, that was it. Also no fork to eat the rice or no knife to spread the jam.The atmosphere did seem nice and cozy. They had Indigenous pictures up on the walls. Also seemed like they had alot of food items to order. If you like bison.Would i go back? Prob not. Sorry. 2/5

This was our first time at Feast. We went for lunch, and the food (Pickerel Sliders / Bison Chili) was excellent! The portions were generous for the price paid, and the Bannock was some of the best I've had. The service was quick but friendly, and we didn't feel rushed. The ambiance is nicer than I expected, and it feels more spacious than it actually is. Overall it was an excellent experience, and we will definitely go back to try some of the other dishes.

5⭐️ for Ayesha's kind service. We were seated right away, and our orders taken immediately. When Ayesha found out that the poutine was cold, she quickly replaced it with a fresh batch. The fries were crispy and the gravy was hot. Before we left, she also gave me a free dessert (to go) to make up for the poutine. It was a generous and unnecessary offer, but the Bannock donut with Nutella was delicious! Needless to say, my dad (who normally has a small appetite) shockingly cleaned his plate of bison roast (it's his first time eating bison meat). I ordered the bison burger with a side of bison chili and Manitoba poutine. It was a lot of food, I had to box half of the poutine.I wish the tables were bigger, for clients who want to order a few dishes to share.Overall, a really nice new experience for a dad and daughter date night. Glad to have found this cafe and be able to support its people. All the best!
