These guy's did a awesome job moving my daughters apartment to storage. They were very professional and shed that was too small work. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Our apartment lease ended 10 days before we can close on our new house so we chose Metropolitan Movers & Moving Co. Orleans to move, store and then move our things again into our new place.

Excellent service, and a real godsend when I needed help with a last-minute move. Metropolitan Movers & Moving Co. Orleans got back to me promptly with a quote and scheduling was quick and easy.

The movers were great and super careful. But, one of them tripped while carrying a drawer and hit the wall of my new house and made a hole in it. He apologized many times and promised he's going to let his boss send someone to fix it. But, their boss whose name is Habib kept procrastinating and then turned the tables on us! He said that we should've got insurance (Which no one offered us to get) even though he promised to fix it over the phone. And he kept saying he's busy. I called them over 5 times and they never kept any of their promises. And then the mover himself who made the hole came to our house out of his work hours and fixed it with his colleague! I do not recommend! Because if anything happens they won't care about it!

I do not usually leave negative reviews, but this is important. I hired this company for a local move from down-town Ottawa. On the day of the move, they were two hours late, and then refused to do the move and just left.When booking the move, I fully explained the parking in my area (downtown Ottawa), and explained it was a two story walk-up, providing a full review of the building layout. It was confirmed that it would be no problem, and they said they did not need anyone to survey the building beforehand, it would be fine.Their claim was that they could not do a move if they had to cross the street, which is reasonable. However, I did offer them the option to park on the either of the two side streets, each offers free parking. To be clear, this would not have added a lot of distance for them (blocks in down-town are very small). They refused because it would take too long, even though they are paid by the hour.They said they would only do the move if they could park in front of the building. None of this was mentioned while I was booking with them. We tried to arrange it so they would bring it down the stair, we would move the items across the street for them, and they could load. They said they could not do that. They made no suggestions.After they left, I tried several times to call the main line, and was continually sent to voicemail. I never heard back.I had to make other arrangement on the day of my move because they left me high-and-dry, after already arriving late. This added undue stress to everyone involved in the move. If I could give them a 0, I would. If you live downtown, or have a move that may be inconvenient (stairs, parking logistics, etc), do not trust them. Trying to arrange a move on the day-of because your movers abandoned you is very stressful.

We hired Metropolitan Movers after a friend told us about her wonderful expierence with this company. The crew they sent us were very professional and courteous of our belongings. They asked many questions and were very quick workers. Compared to the other moving companies around the price was unbeatable. Thank you Metropolitan Movers for making this move so simple and stress free. We definitely recommend this company and will use them again if need be.
